416-000-9971 called me twice and never left a message.
Glad I didn't waste my time calling it back. Expecting a call from the GTA I was curious ... but reading these posts, assume it is definately a scam otherwise they would've left a message.

    Car Warranty  Scam
    Have received several calls from:

    416-000-9971
    416-000-5496
    418-922-5823
    818-870-9194
    919-304-3635
    310-599-9143

Have only answered one and researched the other. They are all part of an extended car warranty scam coming from the states.

Am also a Rogers wireless customer.  I do not think that it matters what company you are with.

I did pick up without looking at my phone this number 416-000-9971 and it says that your car warranty can be extended (recorded system).  This is your final call, if you wish to extend, press 1, if you wish to be removed from the reminder calling list, press 2.... fishy

Was called twice on cell phone from 416-000-9971, which of course I didn't answer - called at noon, then an hour and a half later....so far, Vegas, Miami, San Diego, now Toronto area codes for the same basic Car Warranty crap....how is this not somehow illegal?  Or at least how is someone not accountable...I never give out my number!

If you can and you have a little patience, these can be quite amusing.  Better to have some fun with them, because they are pricks looking for your money.  Don't tell them anything that is real, but I'd suggest giving them a load of useless info to make the buzz off...
