Telemarketer's 'courtesy call' selling Scotia insurance to Scotiabank customers.  He said it was Optima Communications for Scotia...  Very pushy.  I told him twice that I was not interested and hung up.  I forgot to tell him to put me on their DNC list.

I have never had any affiliation with scotia bank! No account, loans, nothing! So I don't think it possible that I owe them money, and have no idea how they would get my number. Especially my cell. It has to be a fraud of some sort

Don't be fooled.  This number called me Saturday afternoon 04/07. Turned out to be the Bank of Nova Scotia collections department pretending to be offering life insurance but were really trying to gather personal information about who lived at my address.  The person they were asking about has never lived at this address or telephone number so I know they were lying to me.

I don't owe anyone money!! this number called me and wanted to sell life insurance. they are always pushy and never understand what no means, it took me 3 no's and then hanging up to end the conversation.

They called and didn't leave a message, I don't give my number out to anyone, so I am mad that someone had got a hold of it

im so tired of these marketers when we say 'NO' shouldn't they get it if it is scotiabank they should put it on ur file that ur not interested and leave u alone  maybe they need a dictionary so they understand the meaning of the word...i know that sounds mean but im being honest

416-581-8725 is still being used.  Just got one on the amswer machine.  No message, just dead air.   WHAT GOOD IS THAT DO NOT CALL LIST!!!

Got this call on my cell, they didn't leave a message. Annoying.

I finally answered only to get, "Would you like to participate in our survey?"
My response was mature, and collected. "NO! SO, PLEASE SHUT THE [***] UP AND STOP CALLING ME!" *Click*

My whole day of fun got ruined because of a stupid message left on my landline from this number 416-581-8725.

The voicemail left was a very lengthy pre-recorded message and said something about "calling 911 immediately".  

I had a whole fun afternoon planned for myself because Mum was at work and Dad took my Sister shopping - so I took the car and went out to get a nice, peaceful coffee and just relax.  Well, Mum checked the voicemail from her office and immediately freaked out over the "911" mention, and rushed home to listen to it again.  She then called me and blamed me for it, thinking that I'd gotten into some sort of trouble or car accident.  I had to rush back home to prove to her that nothing was actually wrong on my end.  She took the rest of the day off because she was so frightened, which means no relaxing coffee for me...ALL BECAUSE OF THIS ONE STUPID MESSAGE FROM THIS DODGY NUMBER!!  

I study so hard at uni and never get a break - this was my ONLY break in over a month and it was ruined.  I curse the thoughtless idiots behind this random robocalling and advocate their immediate imprisonment and hefty fine!  We pay Bell Canada to be unlisted in the telephone directory!!  I curse them all...

repetitive call

This number called me tonight at around 8:20pm AST.
I don't owe Scotia Bank ANY money ( I have EXCELLENT credit with them, and know ALL the girls that work at my local branch, as my Grandmother was the branch manager for 20+ years), nor do I have/want any kind of insurance policy. I have emiled Scotia bank's head office, and reported the number, and expressed my concerns.
Not only that, my home phone # is UNLISTED.. the only # on my Banking Profile is my cell phone #.

Scotia Bank's tele marketing company, they wanted me to buy additional life insurances

This number just called my CELL phone at 8:15PM!  I didn't answer and no message was left.  I am seriously getting tired of all the phone calls!
