Received calls from this number everyday for a week. Before that it was from 403-201-0131. Very annoying as this is my work cell phone.

Receiving call from this number from past 2 weeks. Once tried to call back, then my line was disconnected!
It's very annoying n frustrating too. Why telecommunication department, Government of Ontario is not taking action against such numbers?

Have being getting calls from this number also, no message left, so don't bother to answer it. Please stop calling my number!

Regularly receiving calls from this number. If I pick up, there is no one there.

This number calls occasionally, if we pickup, nobody is there, if we don't, it rings 4-5 times and hangs up without getting to the message system. Annoying and pointless.

uh, not sure if you are reading these posts, but clearly no one here knows "who" or "where" these calls are coming from, therefore, a cease and desist letter as you have suggested, would be kinda irrelevant and impossible, unless you can inform us all as to where to send it, I for one would love to know.

Have had numerous calls from this and other numbers 403 255 8807 and 416 848 0710 in the last couple of days.  Congrats you won 2800 air miles--- "yippy- yahoo", something for nothing - no happening!!
Requested to Press 1 to get further information or press 9 to be removed.
Don't push 9!!!!!!  As soon as you press the digit 9 you will be connected to a premium rate telephone line that will charge you up to $30.00 per minute. Even if you hang up your phone it will not disconnect the call because they originated the call and will continue to charge you for 5 minutes or longer.

Never push 9 when initiated from an incoming call !!!
These calls are being displayed as coming from Canadian numbers but when you call back they are not in service. Bad guys are always steps ahead- WARNING

i just got a call today - no one there & have got calls like this from this # a couple of times recently - call # and recording - # not in use

I have been receiving steady phone calls from this number.  No one there when I answer.  When I call back says number not in service.   Very annoying.

Don't ask us. We just get the calls same as you.

Just got another call from this number.  For first time ever a recording came on saying it was Air Miles <blah blah blah> and to press 9 to be removed.   I pressed 9 with pure happiness and look forward to not getting phone calls from this number anymore.

Yes it is a scam.
Yes they are a telemarketing company. (From Toronto)
No they will not remove your number if you ask them to.
No they are not being compliant with the national no call list.

I have reported them to the CRTC and I suggest you do the same.

Today, I answered and pressed "1" so that I could get a person. Listened, told them i was interested, etc. They tell you to get a pen and paper. I claimed I was. The trick is to waste their time, because that's the only way to hurt them, cost them money/wages. Can't do anything to the automatic dialer, but it's satisfying, and great gamesmanship to see how long you can keep them waiting on the phone. Have fun with it. Wished I was ready to take a dump, and let them hear it on speakerphone.,

I just took my name off of a Canadian website that Ryan on page 2 had posted.  Hopefully things will be good in a month.

And I firmly believe if you do this, they will put you on their own internal "do not call" list which they probably also share with other telemarketers.

quit calling me. like really 4 times a day while I am at work on an unlisted number. that is bearing on harassment

I have call block on my phone for "unknown name unknown number" but they still got through

I've had dozens of calls from this number and it's driving me nuts!! How do I stop it?
