They must REALLY want to get in touch with me - 2 calls in the last 10 minutes.

I suspect it is a Debt Collector calling numbers that don't answer when they use their own number on the Caller ID. They try calling with a number people don't recognize to see if they will answer and show them the line is in service

Received calls from this number for the past three days.  I say "hello" twice, then it hangs up.    
When I call it back, it says the number is not in service.

When I pick up a call from 1(416)588-9262 they say they are calling from air miles. These ppl are scams DO NOT ANSWER

I keep getting calls from 416-588-9262 they do not leave a message, when I call back it is disconnected, when I answered they hung up.

This number came up on my phone. I believe it's telemarketing.  I want it to stop please.

I phoned the operator to complain about this no. after my 3rd call from it in 1 day. She said it's a telemarketer, and since 416 area code is from downtown Toronto, if I put my name on the do not call list, the telemarketer would be stopped from phoning me or be subject to investigation and possible fines or charges for non-compliance. I immediately phoned the do not call list, but it takes up to 31 days to "kick in". Here's the ph no., and I hope it helps us get rid of this [***] (pardon my french) 1-866-580-3625. It's an automated message but doesn't take long to register. Once you register it's good for 5 yrs, but it only governs Canadian telemarketers. I've heard out-of-country telemarketers get this list to then harass us, but I'm so sick of getting this 416 call. The other option is to pay more for my phone service where I can have certain area codes blocked from calling my number.

Is there any way to get rid of this number(416-588-9262). This number call my house almost 2 to 4times a day morning to evening and its so annoying. Not happy at all. This number should be banned.

416-588-9262 is telephoning my home number up to three times every single day.  It starts some days at 8:30a.m. and again at 2p.m. until as late as 8:30p.m.  It is a recorded message that starts with:
"Congratulations....that's when I slam the phone down.

I have been getting this call on my cell also my 2 young grand children  I would like it to stop also

These calls are made by freaks from a boiler room. You should get a call blocker, block them and then report their number to this website https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov.

If you are in Canada, you should have your own Do Not Call registry. You should put your numbers there.

They keeping saying I won air miles reward miles and trips.

this number is from Vacations By Newport - a wholly owned subsidiary of Newport Marketing, LLC http://www.newportmarketing.com - you can call their number  1-888-528-1840 and since this is toll free to you - it costs them money when you call them!!!!

I have received many calls saying they are a duct cleaning company.  Each time I ask the gentleman to take my number off his call list.  The last 6 calls, I have requested to speak to a supervisor and have been hung up on.  When I try to call the number back it tells me it is out of service.  I have advised the man that it is a crime for them not to put me on the do not call list when requested, and he just hangs up.  It seems to be the same man each time that I am called, however they use unlisted number, private number or plainly this number and others similar.
