- TAPCalls cell phone but leaves no message - scam/junk.
- Georgia GirlI received a call from this number as well. If you are in the Choice Hotels rewards program then that is probably why you got the call. More than likely it is not Choice Hotels calling but rather a telemarketer who has purchased your personal information from them. Based on your post, I think I will cancel my membership in their rewards program. If someone asks you to pay money in order to get something free then its not legit.
- Caller: Choice Hotels

- HoratioI got the same Choice Hotel call from 417-208-3183 today thanking me for a stay at Quality Inn in March. The problem is that I didn't stay at any hotels in March. They also referred to me by another name. I just told him that I hadn't stayed anywhere in March and that he had the wrong number. It definitely seemed like a scam though!

- ummIgnored call left no message
- CwLegitimate call according to the Choice Hotels customer service. Granted they called after 9pm my time, waking me up while I'm on call for the hospital song gave the manager a piece of my mind. Of course I have to call the f*ing bluegreen vacations company directly to be removed from their list. I'm also writing their privacy officer about concerns for them knowing my home address and phone number.
For anyone that needs the bluegreen vacations number it is 855-612-5203- Caller: Choice hotels / blue green vacations
- Call type: Telemarketer
- TomIt is an affiliate of the Choice Hotels rewards program - a vacation timeshare promotion. I did sign up for the rewards program but don't recall unchecking the box that allows them to call my cell # with special offers. When I called, they politely explained how/why they called, which was legit, and offered to remove my # from future promotions. So far so good. If I ever hear back from them, I'm done with Choice Hotels.

- MykeSame message. Someone claimed to be from choice rewards and offered same deal, when I really questioned them they had no answer and then hung up the phone. Be ware of this. I asked them how they get my info and they hung up. Don't give any information to them. I attempted to contact choice rewards and of course no answer.

- aj replies to NHCould you tell if that was Eve talking to Adam?
- ajMy, the sales person, Indigo, is insistent and persistent. As other reviewers have mentioned, they specified when we visited one of the Choice hotels (we stayed at during our driving trip around northern California and Oregon).
As good as this offer may be, I can't trust giving a perfect stranger that's calling me out of the blue and asking me for something involving parting with money.- Caller: Choice Hotels/Blue Green whatever..
- Call type: Telemarketer
- SeattleiteJust received a call from this number. No voice mail left. Interesting to read the emails below, since I, too, had a recent stay at Choice Hotels (in July). Not a good sign.
- RickMI believe this is legitimate. If you have recently stayed 3 or more times and call Choice Priviledges (I'm a member) you are offered a similar deal. It's not the best way for Choice Hotels to get their name out BUT it really has been a good deal every time an offer has been made to me. I travel constantly and must say this chain is best value I've found. Not most elegant, not cheapest but BEST VALUE. For example..Ft Myers, excellent hotel property..$79.00 Be careful of scams, this is not one.
- Caller: Choice Hotels
- RadishmomCalled twice on consecutive business days, left no msg either time. Coincidentally, we stayed at a Choice-branded hotel last month. Blocking number.
Side note: their e-mails trying to convince you that you have signed up with their Rewards program (when you haven't) are annoying in the extreme as well.- Caller: ??
- Ljg2000 replies to abqcruznThis just happened to me and called Choice Hotels and was transferred to a line that never picked up. Will not be staying at their hotels again.
- FBCaller did not leave a message. I was going to call back to see who it was and am glad I checked it out from this website.
- DD replies to abqcruznI just received a call from this number, but did not recognise the number; therefore, did not answer. We stayed at Choice Hotels 3 weeks ago. This makes me very curious.
- LegitI got the "hard sell" immediately after booking my hotel. I was asked to listen to their promotion which has already been described perfectly in this post. I was transferred to the telemarketing company after the hotel was booked. I'd be 99.9./. sure this is legit. They ASSURED me this was my one time only offer so it's hysterical that they're calling. I could see how this might be a good way to travel but I wouldn't put the money upfront not knowing when I could get away or if this would be where I'd want to stay.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- downtownjimcalled my cell number was a cruise offer I stay at Choice Hotels often I guess that's how they get my number.
- Caller: choice Hotels
- ChuckGot a call from this number and as always I do not answer if I don't recognize it. I recently joined Choice Hotels Membership to accumulate points for free stays. They did not leave a Message so I'm skeptical about the call and I blocked the number!
- gbmltGot a call from this number on my cell phone. No message left. I've stayed at Choice Hotels but am not a member.
- wisnerThis number came up as SPAM on my CID at 9:00 PM on a Saturday nighy; I hit the talk and end call button immediately. As others have noted, it may be legit, but I doubt it, not when your ID says 'Spam'.
- Caller: Annoying scamming telemarketers
- Call type: Scam suspicion
