Calling u all too same here

I've received 3 calls from this # today but nobody on the other end... very frustrating!! I've read several post saying this is a # for Cox billing I don't even use Cox for anything...

I get this phone calls every day from this number 417-520-7008 and they say from CoxHealth and they want me to make a payment plan and they told me how much I owe them I knew than that I don't owe them any money, so please watch you say when they call

I just got a call from this number for my husband. I talked to them. It was for his outstanding bill with Cox Health. I pulled out the bill and the same phone number appears in the box that says, contact us for questions about your bill. It says call us (417)520-7008 or (855)697-4527 M-F, 8am-8pm CT. All they asked me for was the last 4 of his social security number, to verify it was him. They had to issue talking to me about his bill. Then again, he has it set up so they can talk to me about all aspects of his health.

This number has been calling me for 2 months off and on. When I answer they hang up.

This is the billing dept for Cox Health.  You have an outstanding bill.

This number called and when I answered there was no one on the other end.

beware of this caller. Pretty sure there is something irregular going on. Kind of sketchy.

This is a bill collector that will call you no matter what during the day during your job and they will not speak they will hang up, you will have to call back to find out that they are calling about an outstanding bill. After getting in trouble with your boss is for answering hang up calls and you go outside to call them back just to find out there, calling and hanging up on you so that you called them back to make a payment arrangement and you explain to them that you know that you owe money that they cannot be calling during your hours of business, or you will get fired and not be able to pay them ever, they don't seem to care. They will still keep calling you until you promise to pay them money. Even if you don't have any money. I am already being garnished so they cannot garnish me. They are going to have to get in line. It does not matter, they will still keep calling over and over.

cox provides good medical care but there billing system is seriously in need of being fixed.
i have filed one complaint to medicare because they billed me for a service which medicare covers completely

I don't think this is Cox Health or any 3rd party they hired.  it is a spammer that is spoofing the Cox phone number, and trying to get personal information for identity theft.  Folks should be aware of number spoofing.

Cox hospital in Springfield Missouri

This number called me and I missed the call because I was working. Oddly enough I work for cox hospital. They left a voicemail stating this is cox health this is an emergency please call us back at and that number. I looked here because I know cox health numbers are 417-269 all of them. This is billing and I’m upset they can call and lie about it being an emergency!

Asking for payment for a bill I have no knowledge of or letter. Says it's from 6 years ago. Demanding very personal information. Calls several times,  sometimes hanging up without saying anything.

Says nothing when I answer. Other posts say it is Cox Billing but I don't have any accounts when Cox Health so I'm not sure. Very annoying.

According to cox health systems, it is not them, it is a scam. I just got that call and called cox at the 417-269 phone number. They informed me about the scam.

Received a call from 417-520-7008. I answered and it was a totally automated recording statting they were from Cox Health Systems calling about an urgent matter and to please call back. I called Cox back at a different number that I was familiar with and they informed me that the number I received a call from was linked to a scam.
