i recieved numerous calls from this number, i only answered the first call, but whoever was on the other end wouldn't talk. and i have recieved at least 4 more calls but i wont answer!!!!!

yea i got one too they said they were from a fedral grant and my expenditure was more than my income. they said they wanted to give me a grant in the amount of 4005 dollars if i gave them my checking account number.

"WARNING" This is a "SCAM"!!! I wanted to start a small business and filled out a application on line. I received a phone call 4 days later from a woman stating that I was going to get a $4500.00 government grant. There was going to be a one time fee of $359.00 taken out of my bank account. The sad part is I fell for this "SCAM" and gave them my account #. The woman stated she was working for a company by the name of "AMERICAN STANDARD FINANCIAL". Also she stated that after they received the money that I would be receiving my check within the next 20 days. "PLEASE BE CAREFUL" if its not already too late. The woman I spoke with had a foriegn accent and "MADE" everything sound like this was the real deal. The woman gave me employee ID#s and also a verification #. This sounded to me like everything was legit and that I was on my way to starting my own business.

same story. not sure where they got my unlisted number, but I was told they had grant money for me. "lizzy hill" was the woman i spoke with, her id # is 176. All i had to do to collect my money was pay $350, and give them my bank info. Lizzy even transfered me to a "manager" when i wouldn't give my bank account number.

They keep calling me and saying the samething.

Yes, I have been receiving calls from this number, and no one answers when I keep saying hello

They called every day for 2 weeks.  No one there when we answered.  Until 8/7/07, when the nice lady gave me the "government grant" pitch and asked for my bank account.  Told her I knew a scam when I heard one; and hung up.  Haven't called back.  Has anyone contacted law enforcement in Bellvue WA?
This is a land line with an obvious history of wire fraud.  The police should be involved.

This # started calling me 3 days ago and won't stop. I haven't answered it yet. fortunately i looked it up online to see who it was first. thanks for the info. i wonder can this # BE BLOCKED IF YOU HAVE A CELL PHONE?

they called my house number and im in the dont call list they need to stop calling my house phone. mm get on the national dont call list.gov and they will stop calling. ur cell and ur house number

They started calling me every hour today, but I missed them, when I called back all I get is a message saying to leave a message of for me to send in a fax. Then it hangs up. What's going on???? Something has to be done to stop this FRAUD!!!!

Has anyone got another call from a 989 area code as well? I have been getting so many calls everyday for my fiance. I tell them DONT CALL ME ANYMORE and i have Left messages telling them the same thing. I told them on VM that they are going to have some problems on there hands if they dont stop. i think i am going to contact the police. FRAUDULANT COMPANY and i dont even know what the he11 they want from me.

I continue to get calls from this number and when you answer there is no one there.

I have gotten the same call for the past two days. It has the same message when I tried to call it back from my missed call list. They did ask for my friend once when I did answer the first time and I didn't give him the phone they just keep calling. It is pretty annoying!!

i've been getting calls from them all day, haven't heard a pitch yet, luckly i work with the oregon state police, this sounds like a fraud case and i am diffently going to be passing this along to local police in wasington.

this is really annoying. I get the calls about every 10 mins. No one picks up the other end of the line when I answer.
How do this # to stop calling?

ok this is a joke we all should track this person down and call them fifty thousand times and then hang up when they answer

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRR.Yep this is the most annoying call I've ever gotten.Why is this number still allowed to be in service.Someone Somewhere has to do some thing.But for now I'm blocking this number from my phone.Free country and all..But there's gotta be limits.Especially when it comes to protecting the public. I told the [***] to stop calling and what does she do.Calls me 5 more times.It's sucking up my minutes and is the most annoying thing I have ever dealt with. Anyway to everyone out there just be careful..

I have received 3 calls from this number in 3 days. I've answered twice with no one on the other end. I called the number back and it said "to leave a message press one, to send a fax press two" so I sent a fax asking to take my number off the list. Then I googled it and found this site. Thanks for the heads up! :D
