I received a call from this phone number this afternoon. When I tried to call the number back I received a message that stated that no support agents were currently available to assist me at the time. The message then asked me to leave my name, email address, and phone number and someone would get back with me.
This has all the signs of being some type of scam. Beware of this phone number if you choose to or if you able to reach someone located at this phone number.

I had a call from this number, Didn't pick up cause I don't know anyone that live in Washington, they didn't leave a message, so assumed it was a scammer

Interesting.  They do not list anyway to contact them except for an email.  The site is registered to the Beijing Rice Technology Co., Ltd., which I assume is located in China.  Work at home?  Sounds like a scam to me, and it looks to me as if you are actually part of this scam.

I had a call  from this number, as well.  When I called them using the phone number on my caller ID, it said there not set up to take messages and to leave my information for them.  I don't know anyone with this area code, I didn't leave any information.  I looked up this area code and it said Washington!  I don't know anyone in Washington.  So, I don't know what this phone call is about.  Scam???

Yeah it is vipkids, if you sign up to that website and then decide it is not for you, they try to get you to join with emails an calls. Not a scam, just a little too aggressive.

I just got a call from this number.  Didn't answer, as they had called me before and I am not in this state.  I don't kmow why I keep getting calls from the 425 area code and about the same time every time.  Its between 6 pm to 7 pm PDT.

This number belongs to VipKid, a Chinese company that hires American teachers to teach English over the internet to Chinese children. If you have recently applied to VipKid this would be them following up on your application.

Claire is right .... I started an app for VIPkids and I know it’s them who called because I didn’t answer and immediately got an email from them to finish my application but I’m not interested anymore. So Claire - real or not is correct :)

I had a call from this number. However, I’m not expecting anyone from WA, so I rejected it. Then, I received an email from VIPkid about my application.

Scam organization.  Since they are in China why would they be calling from a Washington State phone number?

Hi. I have to disagree that this is a scam. I received a phone call from them and quickly googled the number and got on this site. They called again and I spoke to a man about setting up an interview for an application I had started. My sister has been working for VIPkids for nine months and she is the one who suggested I do it since she has been able to make a living doing it. She makes around $20 an hour and since I am looking to supplement my income I am looking into it as well. Don't knock it til you've tried it!

I too have signed up with VIPkid and received a call from this number. I was referred by a friend to VIPkid. It is a legitimate company based out of China that provides English education to students there. It is not a scam.
The only “sock puppet” is those of you who don’t do your research before calling other people names.

Correct! I ignored the call and they called FIVE TIMES in a row! I had to answer to be able to have my phone free to even block them. And I’m a Canadian number— cost me long distance to answer their harassment.

VIP Kids is not a scam, but they are very pushy if you start applying to work for them. My sister makes about $2000 a month from them, but I don't want to do their hours.

Just received a call, but no message, called the number bac, it was for VIP Kid, which is a legit English teaching company out of China.  You can look up thier website.  They did get my info from me, so this was a legit call (very rare for me to post such, because I get hammered with robo-calls)  Some people MAY be putting in fake numbers when they visit the site.  Have seen this happen before as well.  All I do know on this one, it is legit in my case this time.
