Callled 4 times today for different people.  Says they are from ?/?///analytics...in other words a survey.
One caller was a man, the other a female.  Finally I asked her to please take the number off of their list...don't want to have to report the number. This isn't the first day of them calling either.  Usually I just pick up and hang up.
    Caller ID says LOGAN, UT

Got a call from 435-750-4933 UNKNOWN NAME on caller ID. Answered and they asked for my husband. Chewed her out for calling so late 9:21 pm. Telemarketing calls are not supposed to be done after 9 pm. Told her there was so good time to reach him as he leaves at 5 a.m. til and come home from 8-10 pm.  Might just have to call them in a couple hours. :)

Teach your senior age friends and kinfolk how to handle such calls: Before they pick up the phone, they should check the caller ID to see if the call is from a person and/or number they recognize. If not, they should not pick up the call. Simple.

I've received calls from this # shortly before 9 PM on 11/16, 11/17, 11/18, & 11/19. My caller ID shows The Work Institute. I haven't answered any of the calls. I did receive a large white envelope several days ago containing two one dollar bills. It was paperwork regarding an invitation to join a weekly survey program.

These people keep calling almost daily, day and night. We have caller ID and the name says,  Work Institute.  We never answer any calls unless we know the number.

These people call almost every day (callerid: The Work Institute) and refuse to remove me from their list.  When I asked them to, they informed me they don't have to remove me from their list and would continue to call until I listened to them explain why they called.  Guess what, I don't care why they called.  I have no desire or inclination to talk to them. Previous posts make me believe it has to do with the large white envelope I received with $1 or $2 in it from a survey company which makes its money from getting people to participate in surveys.  So not worth it (the money in the envelope).  I can't believe the gall of these people.  One of them actually posted and was perplexed why people don't just listen to them and answer their questions and it will all be over.  Sounds like the advice of a serial abuser that wants a continuous supply of victims. I pay for a phone so I can communicate with people I want to communicate with.  Should that make me an immediate victim to phone abusers?  It apparently makes me subject to this form of abuse whether it should or not. This company is a MAJOR ABUSER and apparently has been for quite a few years. They hire people who can't get real jobs and pay them to call and harass the general public.  Of course the workers try to rationalize it to make their efforts seem reasonable.  It should be illegal. That is why most people would NEVER do this work.  Only people with very limited job opportunities would ever consider it.

Had you not gone and attacked a member here that was trying to give advice, i would have helped you out with your problem.  But now you have to fend for yourself.  Your mother, if you know her, should have told you that you get more out of life by being pleasant than being a (fill in your own word here).

The caller ID showed "The Work Instit" but the caller identified himself as being from Information Alliance. (How's that for a generic company name?)
He said he was conducting a survey on how used toners were disposed of, said he wasn't selling anything, etc.
I asked him what kind of questions he'd be asking. He mentioned getting information on the models of printers that we have. Once I told him that we do not provide info on our equipment, he ended the call. The guy must have been new, because he was actually nice and said goodbye before hanging up.

Got a call on our unlisted land line from this number at a quarter to eight. The caller stated they were calling on behalf of the work institute, and wished to speak with "Leo".  I told the young gentleman that he had the wrong number.  He apologized and told me to have a good evening.  Polite, no hassle, but I blocked the number immediately. Getting calls such as this was the reason we got an unlisted number in the first place, but no big deal.  Love our phone for the blocking ability.  Wise investment.

"If there from Utah, they're probably religious.  Call them on a Sunday repeatedly and see how they like it".  That is a biased and hateful post.  Mormons don't call people on the phone from Utah to spread their beliefs.  Shame on you.  Slur a black, Mexican, or Muslim and it is terrible.  Slur a Mormon and you think you're being cute.
