This is an unwanted call

OK, the best I can tell is it's a legitimate business (http://www.infoalli.com/) however, their business is a 3rd party survey taker for various organizations. They refused to let us know what company they were getting information for therefore, we refused to answer any questions.  We asked them not to call again.
Legally they have to comply.

Whenever I get these type calls, I just dial *60 and put a block on the number.  I never get the call again.  They try to because it shows up on my TV caller ID when I'm watching, but the phone doesn't ring.  They get a message that it is blocked.

The person that called from this number asked for the person in charge of the copiers.  When transferred to a v/m, they didn't leave a message.  Just leery because sometimes shady salespeople will try to trick you into giving them enough information so they can ship and then charge you outrageous prices for toner.

I actually work for the company. It's a independent research company that is hired to call and conduct surveys for different companies.
We usually don't ask for any personal information, only a name to verify to the company who we spoke with. If you are uncomfortable giving out any information, know that it is not a requirement.
And yes we will keep calling if you do not answer of if you simply hang up the phone, it is our job. The only way to get us to stop calling is to take the survey (which are usually really short and simple) or listen to the reason we are calling and say that you are simply not interested and do not wished to be called again.
We aren't allowed to call any location after nine P.M. by law. And we only call in the mornings if we were told it would be a good time to reach someone.
We do not have call lists, nor does the "call list" apply to us. We receive most of our information from the different companies who hire us to call you. We don't know if we are calling a cell phone, house phone, or work phone. We also don't know if we are calling at an inconvenient time.  

Please don't be rude if you do get a call from us. Most of us are young college students just trying to pay rent. I was desperate for a job, and took what I could find. I do what I have to do to pay my bills. We're not trying to scam anyone.

this is the truely only way to get the calls to stop. Or just do the survey.

I did  not answer this call, because I happen to answer another call from Ogden Utah on Sat., and it was some idiot "supposedly" taking a survery.  I just hung up the phone in the "idiot's face.  A friend of mine got a similar call (she does not have caller ID), and they were asking all about her bank account, etc.  This is a scam and someone needss to stop the calls.

Got a call at 11:30 PM asking for my wife by name, said they were from the Research Center.

We have been getting calls every night from this number usually around 8 PM CDT.  It is from Logan Utah but that is all it says.We have not answered the call because we do not know anyone in Utah. However, tomorrow night I intend to answer and ask for their name, telephone number, SS number, etc. I will let you know what they say.

From what I've learned IA was spawned from USU's Innovation Campus, and is housed on Campus. You're president is somewhat conflicted in that he also holds an adjunct teaching position with Huntsman Business School's Marketing Department.

The issue is simple are you adhering to FCC "donotcall" guidelines? You're making the calls, not your "clients." IA's website,s links to it's "codes" and "ethics" pages are now defunct. It seems as though your practices have gone out the window of late.  Is Angie Olsen training you to adhere to federal calling restraints and is Mark cross-matching client's recommended call list with the FCC database? Think we need to press USU's powers-to-be to see whether they're letting their spin-offs off the lease of Federal regulations while collecting Federal ARRA grants with the other hand!

To get the calls to stop. Answer the phone and tell them to stop calling.

recieving  repeated  calls  from  this  number  at all hours of the day,  this is most annoying as

Got a text message from this number saying that I have a voicemail......no voicemail. Strange?

They were actually NOT scam. I finally picked up their call, and it was about how the survey with regards to the repair done my car. They simply asked if I was satisfied by the work done by the repair shops and etc.

Called at 1:38 CDT. Didn't answer, no message was left.

So now, when ever and where ever we pay for services, we are supposed to ask them to exclude us from post service survey's... Ridiculous. I already told the guy afterward that it was an awesome job. And, if I wasn't satisfied I would have told them then and there. Why should I be bothered and interrupted again?

Hang up.  Been getting weird hang up calls today.

Received a call from this number at 12:37pm on Oct.7, 2010. It said "No Name" on my cellphone so I didn't answer it. Geez! These people obviously have no life. Does anyone really give them personal info. Hope not!
