Same thing as you years of threatening calls. I block the number

Same exact message, last I knew is that when you have to appear in court that's when you bring your legal representation, and the have to send papers via us mail.  I made the mistake once to pay one 100 bucks and the wanted more that was one of 5 installments ... I know I was scammed out of 100 bucks and I gave them a prepaid card because at least I was smart enough not to give my bank imfomation.  Never again I think that just prompted more scammers to call me.

These people had the nerve to not call me, but actually leave a voicemail on my elderly grandparents phone. My name is not on their voicemail at all and they still left a message saying that I have 2 felony assault charges against me and a warrant for my arrest and need to be in contact with them immediately.  Almost gave my poor grandfather a heart attack hearing that.  I called the Ohio number as soon as I found out, and asked why someone in Ohio would be calling me when I don't live anywhere near that state. The snotty girl said "Mr. Davenport" is at lunch and will call me ASAP.  I asked her what the charges were about since they said felony assault and as a 30 year old woman I have never once been in a fight in my life.  She said they were real and that I'm a liar and a felon and they will all soon be explained.  I had my bf who is a state trooper and my lawyer look up my record and saw absolutely nothing of the the sort.  I called Mr. Davenport back 3 hrs later since he never called me back and was told he was busy.  I then proceeded to explain to the girl that I'm a nurse that works in pediatric oncology and work hard to help save lives and bring happiness to my child patient dying of cancer every day, and how does it make her feel that all she is doing with her life is work for a fake company that tries to hurt and ruin people's lives with lies.  She then got real mad and told me they were not fake and that I am a felon that will be locked up and raped in jail and that I'm a cu** as* bit** and a [***]. Not sure where that came from since I wasn't cursing and then hung up on me. I proceeded to call back to tell her that's an inappropriate way of speaking to someone and not professional and that I would like to speak to your so called "Mr. Davenport". She then said that I have called over 50 times (only called 3 times to return their calls) today harassing her at her job and she is calling the cops for harassment, suing me $1,500 for every phone call and will take me for everything I'm worth in a much more profane type of language than that.  There must be a special place in hell for people like that to be so nasty to innocent people. Completely disgusted by this. I hope they get what is coming to them and that nobody gets scammed by these low life criminals

This has all the earmarks of extortion scammers. For Extortion Scam Operations,  File reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,CFB,FTC & FCC..

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.
