Dont know if these guys are another tele marketer scam. Perhaps so; when I called backed, it was like an automated phone response

they call and hang up; you call it and it is an add for your daily horoscope.

I got a missed call from this number the other day.  I looked it up on the internet and saw that it was a Maryland area code, so I called it back out of curiousity.  It's a pre-recorded message advertising a website: www.heycosmo.com.  I just pressed #3 so they'd block my number.

Also, just got a call from there in the 619 area code

Same as other posts.... Called my cell.... Happens about once every 2-4 weeks... 2 rings then disconnect... I'm 972 area code....

Please do not call my number. i don't know you and I don't want to get call from you.

Just got a call from this number 4434516999.  It rang once and then it was gone.  Im blocking this number now.

I am in the 408 area code area (San Jose).  I will be blocking this number!

This was some fortune telling site called Hate Cosmos or something like that.  I tried to call them back to get them to put me on their do not call list, but that isn't one of the options on their answering message.  Tried dialing zero and that didn't work either.  Pain in the ass site.

Got a call from this number to my cell....no message.  I am in Florida in the 407 area code near Orlando.  
You can block numbers from calling your cell either by calling your cell carrier or going to their website - for instance, Verizon lets you do it online...

Sick of this number calling me. I can't change my number as all my clients have it.

Dang!  I got a call from this number, and when I called, they said something about "get your daily horoscope..."  So just a harassing call.

Yup, me too, around 7:35pm.  I'm in 619 area code, & they called my cell.  How do we block a number?

just got the call but didn't even ring twice.  unfortunately there is nothing you can do. this is why i ignore calls unless i know who it is.

Why does everyone post the same thing? Read the dang board before you post! "Got a call rang once and hung up, or no voice mail" blah blah blah!this was posted about a hundred times! There is one helpful post somewhere in the middle jumbled with all the worthless others. Sorry guys but seriously. Its a scam though. If you call back they can collect information. So dont call back, even if you call and press whatever button and attempt get added to the do not call list you're still on the phone long enough for them to jack info from you (and previous posts have stated that even if you opt to be out on the do not call list they still call back anyways)...for example if you surf the web on your phone they can possibly get recent entries and info from you. There IS a website for hey cosmos(which if you haven't read other posts is what the recording supposedly says when and if you call back) but its for an automated calling service, however alot of previous posts say that it offers a daily horoscope if you call back. Which leads me to believe that this number is a scam and will hijack info like the other recent phone scams. Sorry guys I dont know how they got my number either I ONLY use my home number when filling out any and all forms so I'm almost positive theyre just using a number generator which would also explain the patterns with posts and people being in the same area codes.
