just started getting calls... they need to stop bothering people

Just received a phone call from this number. i answered but cautiously. there was no one on the other end. I called the number back and got a recording for Hey Cosmo. It is some kind of message retrieving center, not sure for what. it asked me if i wanted to retrieve my message or find out more about it or press 3 to block further calls. i pressed 3. we will see if they call again.

yesterday it was two (RUDE) calls from 813-347-4829 in Tampa, FL Access America, Accessing GSA...rude people, complaining to Florida Atty General about it.
This morning it's this 443-451-6999 number in Baltimore, MD, and when I answered it, there was a hangup. THey must be randomly calling to see if these are working numbers.


How do you block a call? I'll find out via AT&T.

Just received call from this number as well on my cell in the 650 area code. Now placed on reject call list.

My cell phone registered a missed call from this number this morning. Since I'm in MD and it's a MD area code, I called back. (Occasionally I do get business related calls where no message is left). Automated answer said "Welcome to [garbled]. Please hold while we look up your account information." Of course I disconnected immediately, but now I am wondering if I have activated some sort of malware.

Got a phone call from this number, didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number.  After they did not leave a voicemail, I called the number back and it said "Welcome to *garbled words* Cosmo!  Please hold while we retrieve your account information."

On October 29, 2011 at 2:44 pm (Pacific Time) I received a call from 443-451-6999 on my work cell phone.  I did not answer the call allowing it to go to voice mail.  

I checked my voicemail thereafter and there was no message from this number.

Hi, I just got this call when I am driving ,so............fustrating.............. (at 7:39pm on 10/29/2011)

I called back and got a recording saying they would pull up my horoscope. I hung up. Fortunately, it's a Maryland number (not one of those things in the Bahamas which charge a fortune) and it's on Sunday, so I have unlimited minutes today. My phone is area code 562 (CA). they must have an automated system to go through every number to hit my cell like that. I know a lot of people in Maryland, but I'll know better next time.

Rang maybe once then it disconnected.  If you have Verizon I suggest going to your accoount page and BLOCKING this number.  Do not call back.  Do not answer.  Do not press any number to be taken off mailing lists.

Psychos called me 10-10 am SF time Sunday morning.One ring-

I'm in the 469 area code (Dallas, TX.) Got a call from this number. Didn't answer it at the time, but no voicemail.

I got a missed call from this number, but they left no voicemail. I called back and it was an automated voice saying I could get messages from friends and family. The company is called HEY Cosmo.

I got a call from this number sometime last night... Its from hatecomo.com I called the number from house phone. And they said hold while we pull your records...hmmmm what records? Said something about retrieving my messages (what ever) said to hold came back and said this number is not registered (meaning house phone) No cause they want your cell so it's automatically billed to your cell number.... I just hung up... Looked them up on the comp. www.hatecosmo.com....

Quit calling
