- NAHave they came by your house any?
- scamalertThese are lowlife debt collectors that buy out of statue of limitation debt for pennies. They are not legal, just trying to use scare tactics to get any money they can out of you. Do not fall for this, do not give out any financial information. File a report with the FTC and the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. No one is going to call you and let you know they are going to serve you papers, it is a scam. Next time they call tell them you are recording them, reporting them to the FTC and CFPB. They are not legitimate.

- rocky64 replies to PGDido, I missed a call today from this phone number. I called it back and it just kept ringing with no answer. I do not have any more information but will add this to my scam contact list so my phone will not ring when dialed from this number.
- ItsAscamSame game just a different number. They go away for awhile but always come back. Sick of the calls. I no longer have voicemail on my cell bc of these scammers. I got sick and tired of their nasty, rude, threatening messages. I reported them to the Attorney General but they are "spoof" calling and no one can trace them.
- Susan Wearters-ReyesI have posted this information to Stalking page Justice department, I have also reported these numbers to AT&T. I have been having this same problem since 2008.
- MarcCompany uses bully tactics. Even threatened and terrified my 12 year old son regarding one of our DECEASED family members. Doesn't matter what you say, they just hang up on you and keep calling.

- molThe woman asked for a relative of mine, stating that they wanted to deliver documents for a civil litigation. First of all, when you're being served, no one calls. Second of all, just because someone has the same last name doesn't mean it's okay to call them. I'm sick of this madness.
- Caller: They didn't say
- janScum agency calling and asking for a dead relative say she owes money. These bottom feeders need to be stopped. People should use a call forwarding to every other known scammer and they can call each other all day and bother themselves.
- Caller: scam debt company
- Call type: Debt collector
- mkReceived a call from this number. Gave me a case number a number to call and they would be serving papers tomorrow sometime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Told to call this number they would inform me of the case. Called the number and it was a convenience store.
- Caller: Came from Texas
- Linkage70 replies to Sick & TiredI like your response! This is about the 5th or 6th number they have used. They have called and had the right name, and go with that "civil department" routine, but can't give you a company name. Once they tell me they are serving papers, I have done the same, except the locked and loaded part. Just said to come on out, I'll be home. Freaks them out, they hang up and back off, and then try again in about 3 months.
- Laura| 1 replyPerson calling from this number civil procedures, they have been calling from different numbers for a couple of years, On this debt that is not mine, about a check never written by me. They have also called from 323-393-1028, and they have in the past had me call 1-877-588-4726. I have called, I have asked them to serve me, not only do they call me but they call friends and family, any name ever associated with me.
I REPEAT THIS IS NOT LEGIT,
I would love to get their information, because a law suit for harassment will be filed.- Caller: Civil Procedures
- Call type: Debt collector
- Laura replies to Sick & TiredEvery so often they rotate numbers to other burn type phones,
- Laura replies to LauraThey have called again today, this time called their "new" 877 number of 877-588-7426, oh and new case number. Spoke to Laurie Pinder whom refused to put me through unless I divulged personal information which I refused to do. They Claim to be with GSA Management. She advised me they would continue to harass me until I divluged the requested information. At this point it is becoming a sick game
- GabbySo do they deliver anything?
- HoI got a call from them and I just kept ringing
- A friendKeep reporting them, as the authorities are closing in. I have someone at the Attorney Generals office of my state who is calling and tracing this number. I filed complaints with the Attorney Generals office, filed a report with the Texas Marshals office, the FTC and BBB. I know the police and AG are working to close this idiots shop and most likely get them in court. Give these offices as much information as you can so they can trace these people and stop them. I know these calls can shake people but DONT give this group a nickel. Get any information you can about them when they are on the phone and write it down. Again, REPORT, report, report.. Charges are coming, trust me. Similar idiot was calling me this past spring from a California pay ahead cell number with a similar message and now he is in jail. All because of the reports of his activity..
- Caller: No idea
- Call type: Debt collector
- tswinson replies to Rich| 1 replydid they serve papers
- Tired of these SCAM CallsGot a call. Didn't answer as I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. They have have left messages stating that they were coming or wanting to serve papers on me. They even called my parents. I looked on the internet and there it was, my parents number. SO this is a total SCAM: 1) Tell them to meet you at your attorneys office (you don't need to be there); 2) Ask for their physical mailing address (they won't give you one); 3) Ask for the name of the original creditor (they will tell you that you should know who it is as they've "sent out numerous documents"); 4) DO NOT give them your personal information. If they are calling you they "should already have it"; 5) Just ignore their calls.
Oh, and no they haven't come to serve me. - SoutherneBelle replies to nickI got the same thing today. Looking for the previous owner of the cell number. In total since I have had this number, for 6 weeks, I have gotten over 150 calls much like this for her.
