- B-Rock| 7 repliesThey called me today. Claimed to be IHG (hotel rewards) and conducting a survey. After the 2-3 question survey they said that they were rebranding their company, and I was eligible for a vacation package, and transferred me to another department. They knew my home address and email address. During the call, I received an email from Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Towards the end of the call, I had to pay $250 for a 3 night stay at any of about 10 locations (but I can change locations anytime, no blackout dates, valid for the next 12... no, make it 18 months, and they'll refund $150 after the stay!), so I hung up on them. I told them to mail me any information they want me to have, but I would not be spending any money today, and I don't trust cold calls that then require me to pay something. They actually sound real, and the email is even more reassuring, but I'm not taking any chances.

- Nana BananaGot a call from this number on 4/4/17 at 6:54 p.m. I don't know anyone in Atlanta (stated in the caller ID) so I didn't answer but checked this website. I'm a member of IHG and use their hotels almost exclusively when I travel, but I would never buy a vacation package or anything else over the phone from someone I can't verify. B-Rock has the right idea; if they contact me again, I'll tell them to email me the information so I can review it before making a decision.
- Joe-KI have gotten three calls from this number in the past few days to my mobile with no messages being left. CID only says it's from Atlanta.
- csCalled and left no message. Called the number and it said it was IHG and to leave a message. Did not leave a message.

- Steve T| 1 replyIt sounds like they are trying to sell timeshare/vacation rentals. IHG is Intercontinental Hotels Group and includes Holiday Inn, Indigo, Crown Plaza, and a few more. I am a regular user of their points system and think theirs is the best value (points for reward) available. I am also Hilton and Marriott, and both have called me trying to solicit the same Vacation Ownership...AKA TimeShare program. If you ever get into a Timeshare presentation, just tell them at the end that "it just isn't right for me". They have comebacks for everything but one reply that states 'how you feel'.

- Nick D.I was called by this # on March 29th, 2017. The female rep asked me a short survey (not requesting personal information), just as B-rock described above. I only agreed because she specifically promised me one free night's stay, with no strings attached (without any of terms or conditions that B-rock above was given after he spoke with the promotions rep.) After survey, the caller transferred me to the promotions department to redeem my "free one night's stay," then the phone disconnected. I called the # back, left a voice message, no call back. Annoyed, I called IHG's main number for resolution.. multiple times, getting passed between departments (Rewards Club, Reservations, Promotions, Customer Care, etc), and no one can help. They all essentially say the call didn't come from their department, so there's not anything they can do. One rep said he saw a record of the call in my call history, but there was no caller name associated with it, and he did not have access to the recording of it (though he confirmed that it was likely recorded). This is terrible business practice by IHG, devaluing their brand. Shame on them.

- NonameIHG hotel chains have had a data breach from 9/16 to 12/16, malware in some franchisee's reservation systems have exposed customer credit card#s and even three digit security #'s.
Change psswds, consider getting new cards issued. Never answer a phone # you don't recognize.- Caller: 470-426-8067
- Scott Shaw| 2 repliesThe call is indeed from IHG and they will attempt high pressure sales methods to sign you up for a timeshare presentation. I had to say "No" three times and finally had to hang up on the phone representative due to lack of understanding. Believe me they are extremely courteous / polite to make it harder to say no.

- Greg| 2 repliesIt is IHG comma affiliated with Holiday Inn. For approximately $250 charge now, you can get a 3 night stay in 10 of their locations. That money will be refunded and after you sit through the two-hour presentation with their best deal you will receive $100 cash back. Effectively you get three nights for no cost and $100 cash for sitting in on a two-hour presentation...
