- JVMy parents are receiving daily calls from this number. I told them when they call tell them that they both died and they don't live there any more. Obviously the Do Not Call List doesn't apply to them. Sad beacuse someone is going to fall for this and give them a credit card number and be robbed.
- jacksonthey call a couple of times a day everyday for over a month now. they ask for a Kermit Thunderbird. We have told them to stop calling, we have told them they have the wrong number. They continue to call every day. The caller ID says Emt Medical.
- Caller: EMT MEDICAL
- AngelThey call repeatedly asking for my mother, how they got our unlisted number is beyond me. I tell them we are not interested and ask them how many times do they plan on calling in one day, their response is "as many times as it takes until she signs up". This is a scam aimed at our elderly population to take advantage of them!

- saraI have been receiving calls from this number for weeks. Before this, I received calls from a "Jamacia" cell number. If this happens to you, file a report with the Federal Trade Commission, as they handle scams like these.

- AmandaI have recieved several calls from this EMT Medical with the phone number 1-480-237-8044. They ask for my boyfriend by first name and last name...the first time I got a person to respond they called him the wrong name so I hung up on them. I just got a call about 10 minutes ago from them for him and I said that he was not interested and the guy on the other end was extremely rude and said that he was going to turn me into the propor attority because he thinks I have a huge insurance policy out on my boyfriend, which of course I don't. Then he hung up on me making me fill guilty but I know I did nothing wrong.

- Frustrated replies to annoyedI have the exact same problem! My number is 480-2378, and people keep calling me stating that I have been calling them multiple times when I haven't. Each person has told me that the name on the caller ID is EMT Medical. It has almost become a part time job calling angry people back, telling them that I am not the one they are looking for. I don't know what to do. I've called the FCC and the FTC, but since I'm not the one EMT Medical is calling, they say there's very little they can do to help me.
If you get a call from these people, get as MUCH information as you can about the company-a return phone number, an address...ANYTHING! Call the FCC, the FTC, the Better Business Bureau, anyone you can think of. This has to stop! There are multiple victims with this scam, and this stupid company has been getting away with it for way too long!! - Marcus GiavanniPlease be very carefull with this company, do not give out your information?
I spoke to them and I had someone check them out BE CAREFUL!
I have investigators on them now!

The 2nd call was from someone trying to get my address to mail me a medical alert ID card. when I refused to give my address, the caller became a jerk and I hung up on him.

- unfortunate ex employee| 3 repliesThis is a scam. I didn't realize that when I took the job of course, but in the short period of time that I worked there I was able to pull it together. Not to mention their attrocious business practices. The card is real, but paramedics are not trained to look for it as they like to tell people, only the elderly to be specific. And there are a number of insurance carriers who offer this as well, they also like to say they are the only company offering electronic records. For all intensive purposes though, you'd be just as well to write down any important info yourself and stick it behind your id. They refuse to take numbers out of their system because they expect people to forget they have been called, which sadly works for them. If they tell you that they're going to tell emergency staff you have refused information to them they are lying. The only "files" they have access to are the ones with your phone number. I encourage everyone to report the to the fcc and bbb. If you are already on the do not call list and they keep calling, you can report them and they will be fined. For whatever reason they aren't to concerned with that. Reputable companies are literally terrified of accidently contacting someone on the list because they don't want to be fined and are very apoplogetic and don't call back. Also, even if you do get them to list you as not interested, they go back through those leads 6 months later, so you will hear from them again. It really sucks that these types of companies are allowed to function, especially as long as this one has. They've been around for over ten years. Please warn your parents not to give out any info and hang up, and if they do manage to get it I recommend closing your bank acct asap before you lose any money.

- Ohio replies to unfortunate ex employee| 1 replyCould you please post the details about the company such as address, owners names, etc.? They are targeting older people in my area and I'd love to have some info to pass along to my local police department. You say that they've been is business for 10 years... possibly due to not having inside info. PLEASE post some info so our parents and grandparents won't get taken!!!!
THANKS! - A Firefighter/EMT replies to unfortunate ex employeeEx-employee is right. When we find a non-responsive victim, we don't have time to be going through their wallet/purse. Instead, we try to evaluate their condition and give the appropriate care to keep them alive until they reach a medical facility. (We will check for documentation IF we have time)
If a person does have a medical condition, the absolutely best theing that they can do is wear a MedicAlert bracelet or necklace. When we are doing an assessment, we will find it and then go looking for info in their wallet/purse. These are available for a low cost at most drug stores. - ex-employee replies to Ohio2155 E University Dr # 211

Jeremy is the name of the guy who had me fill out paperwork and did training. I believe the name of the interviewer was Lance, but I'm not sure. I think John was the man in charge of the sales floor. I'm terrible with names and was not there that long. Some of the "closers" were Dennis, Carrie, and Bradford. I don't know who the owner is. I hope this helps some. I'm sorry I don't know any more. - Mr TI just got a call from Emt Medical saying that I have not yet activated a card that I have never recieved. I asked them who they were affiliated with and they hung up on me. Smells like another scam is cookin in the oven!!!!!!!!!!! Why can't these people just get a life and stop waisting their time and ours!!!!!!
