They have called me twice and I missed their call.  When I called the number back, it said that the mailbox was full without saying who it is.

This number has tried to call me three times this week.  They don't leave a message. After getting the third call I decided to try to call back and it immediately goes to a message saying that the mailbox is full.

I successfully contacted them....although they didn't have a company name, they did say that they are "calling to verify I am receiving the free subscription to a magazine (did not identify the magazine) that their company is delivering to my home".  the problem is I refuse to subscribe to anything at all, because once you get on a subscription list....you are put on millions.....so, i don't have a subscription to anything...and never will.  have told them that, and to remove me from their call list.....we will see what happens !

    George,

    Log into www.donotcall.gov

Then follow the link on the left to file a complaint.

They are engaged in an illegal call activity and can be stopped by filing complaints.  I am filing one momentarily.

Lately I pick up calls from unknown area codes but I DON'T say a word.  Silence only.  When this number called, I just listened and waited.  After about 30 seconds a woman's voice said, "hello?" but I didn't say anything and she quickly hung up.

A gentleman called from this number and mentioned that he was calling for the free subscription. I asked him about how he got my number and he said it was from his Media Dept. The company for free subscription was called CFE Media here is their link: http://www.cfemedia.com/home.html

I told him I will not give him information and to have a great day. Hope this helps

I am on the Do Not Call list, I have had no previous business with this company (don't even know who it is), and they called my cell  phone.  I have no idea how they got my number.  I want these nuisance calls to stop.   When I tried to call this number back, I got a recording saying the mailbox is full, so I do not know a company name or why they called.

These calls are for a free subscription to Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine. I don't know what their catch is (it's probably that they sell your info to other companies), but we've been getting this publication forever and have never been charged, in fact, the magazine is available to view on their website. The calls we get are to update subscription info, so I'm guessing if they're calling you it's because you've got a subscription, or they want to give you one. As far as I can tell this company is harmless, aside from wasting a few minutes of your time on the phone. They're never rude or overly pushy and they don't call constantly. I either transfer the caller to voicemail or tell them that we don't want to renew the subscription, but somehow they've got several names in my company so the calls still come in but it's always for a different person.... maybe one day I'll get rid of them, but of all the unwanted calls I deal with in a day they are the least of my worries.

I wish they'd stop.  They call and call and call.  Today I picked up, but nothing.  It is very annoying.

I get these calls too - I constantly have to turn down "Free" industry magazine subscriptions, if you accept this magazine expect to receive tons of emails and other "free" industry magazines covering everything from machinery to engineering software, they nothing more than ads for companies selling their wares to engineering companies.

Yup, selling "free" magazine subscriptions which you never ordered and then they put your info on their seller's list and make huge bucks selling it to other telemarketers.  I knew immediately what it was because the caller ID actually said "magazine update".  I tell these people we're not interested all the time but they keep trying.

I took the time to reject the "caller of magazines."  If he calls back tomorrow I may be out of patience but if I am.... I transfer the call to our fax machine. That screaming noise fax machines make should be awesome.  LOL

What an annoying caller.  I work as an Admin for a department of about 60 people/60 different extensions.  So whenever a call like this comes in and no one answers, I get the call.  Ugh.  I made the mistake of answering and right away, she asks to speak to someone regarding verifying an address.  I didn't let her finish, I just hung up.  I often wonder how much these people get paid to do this type of work.  This caller definitely did not sound from overseas.

I have received calls from this number every day this week, twice a day.  This is a company wanting your info for trade magazines, i.e. American Pharmaceutical Review, et al.  Answer their call, tell them you don't want to subscribe and they will stop calling at least until subscription time rolls around next year.
