I received a call today with this same number, my girlfriend pick up and she got cuzz the hell out of her mind.

Thanks for the tips!  Now I now is Hotel.com I definitely will do something about this.

    Franchised hotel
We are a franchised hotel and have got a call from this number 5-6 times a week for weeks now.  Finally we started asking questions and they hang up when pressed.  They keep asking if we have Park & Fly packages.

I too called what I thought was a direct hotel number, ended up getting hotels.com or expedia on the line, and then got two calls back from this number with messages that were just air and wasted my minutes. Needless to say, when I was on the phone with hotels.com, I was obviously trying to get information and they have the operators taking multiple calls at a time. So he would ask me a question then say ... Hold on....and then be talks to someone else and tells them to hold on....however he never puts the other person on hold....you just hear about all of their needs and questions too. I know its a free service, but they obviously make a ton of money and I just found it extremely rude and time consuming

Whenever you want to get the Direct Nunber for the hotel (Whatever hotel you want) Go to Google Maps and place the name of the hotel, City, State. And you will get the Right Number. Remember Hotels do not use 1800 numbers. and just in case you are getting any booking company beside the hotel with the number you got from google you can look it on Yellow pages.com/  It just that you need to stop being lazy and work a little bit for getting what you want

Okay here is one for ya. Was looking at Internet @11:30p.m and found event  to go to this weekend for me and daughter. Called recommended list of hotels for special event pricing. I thought I was calling 1800 number for best western. Wanted just to see rates. Girl got irate with me because I would not book, I hung up on her & I only gave her my first name. Immediately  after words ! from 11:30 pm up till now Yea 2:50 AM still receiving hangups/breathing and voice mails from this number, have it all on video to show caller id and called voice mail with repeat of number..The first call the ID for 1st hangup/breathing said Expedia, then immediately 2nd hangup/breathing from this number that has "exp" by tele # id. Never booked,  or gave my number,  so how did both callers know my number?  I have never dealt with Expedia (which till call, I did not know that was who I was talking to) clearly they looked at their id when I called them one time, (and I only gave them my first name),  then called me all night to hang up on me. I had to finally have the police get involved and they called the original number I called to book, calls stopped for about 2 hours and started up again. In 25 years of home phone first time ever hangups, and right after I called about motel rates, 1st hangup from Expedia than rest from this number. I have 2 kids that have to be up in the morning and every time I hung up the phone it rang. We have elderly parents and I can't leave my phone off the hook for long periods.  This is harassment all because i would not book a motel! Boycott Expedia for working with fruitcakes that could harm your family! (also see who calls me .com as there are other similar problems with this number and Expedia and many more on Internet.)

Called Expedia thinking I was contacting the hotel. Started reservation but after saying pardon me 5 or 6 times because I could not understand or hear the representative I hung up. Thought I had a bad connection. Was going to call back but immediately started receiving call backs from the 480 270 8191.  Finally turned off my phone because they were continuous. Voicemails left were awful calling me a racist b*tch asking if I thought I was funny, repeating b*tch over and over. This is harassment.  Definitely not a way to run a business!

I keep calling expedia to complain and keep getting the run around, it has been 90 minutes and I am still trying to find out who this loser is.

Yeah, they like to call and let you go thru the whole introduction when you answer the phone, you can  hear them in the back ground, then they hang up.  Happens more than it should if it was a mistake

They also use this number to call hotels to get their rates for groups and conventions and then to undersell them to book the reservation. Lie about who they are, why they're calling and who is actually booking the reservation. Once they get the information, they're rude and hang up. They then lie to the guest, telling them they're the hotel and making them believe they're booking into the group they're calling for when the reservation has none of the perks or benefits of said reservation.

claimed that he was "disconnected and all I had to do now to complete the transaction was to say I confirm the reservation for 5 for the very important event our company was attending". Explained I was the receptionist and I needed the name of the person he had been speaking with in order to get him back to the party. He claimed he didn't have the name but insisted all -I- had to do was confirm the reservation. As he refused to identify himself, or what company he was representing, I responded that I could not confirm anything, and he would have to wait until the person called back (since they would as they had gotten "disconnected") he said "Fine you just lost the five room reservation" and hung up.
