- They use off shore call centers replies to ShannonThey believe that since they are off shore they cannot be held accountable.
- SpunSugarrPhone number just called at 11:00PM. I don't think it's actually affiliated with expedia or hotels.com. Expedia has always been great to me... I think this is just a scam. Anyone have any more info?
- Sergio AguirreThis rude person did not introduced him self and than when I was about to anwer question he asked about guest from expedia and wanted to offer solution, he hang up on me before I had a chance to say anything!!!!. Very unprofesional EXPEDIA,be ashamed.
- Caller: EXPEDIA
- LCalled three times in succession around midnight. Left automated voicemails that they were trying to reach "valued customer."

- dchambersI was waiting for a call back from Travelocity and this number called me! I didn't do any hotel reservations through Travelocity - flight only. And so far very disappointed in Travelocity all together. Don't know how many changes to flights I've had for one trip. Frustrating and then this number calls me. It's hotels something and acted like they were returning my call, which is why I thought it was my call back from Travelocity. Msg before a human voice came on was customer call back.
- Caller: Hotel ?
- Amyrcvd a text message from 574-270-8191 stating: "congratulations, you are one lucky customer getting a credit applicable to your next month bill, for more details visit http://ow.ly/QL0h0". I sent a message back stating "remove this number from your scam listing! Do not contact again!" Let's see if it works?!

- CindyGot three calls from this number. Didn't recognize so didn't answer. They left an automated voicemail that asked me to push 1 or 9 for representative.

- MaryReceived several calls from 480 270 9191. They claimed to be from Expedia . Stating my reservation has been cancelled due to unforeseen and they would like to work with me to find alternative accommodation. It's a complete scam. They are not from Expedia they have hacked in to the system some how and have customer details. They are targeting people who have a reservation that is pay on arrival...they are persistent. I contacted both Expedia and the hotel direct and they confirmed my reservation is live. They are just trying to make a booking to get commission or defraud you of your hard earned cash...... Who knows. If you use you mobile number for bookings you can block the caller and report emails as junk.
Either way it's stress you can do with out. Never give out details about an existing booking if called by this number. Don't get caught out in this scam ...- Caller: Pretend Expedia
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AliceI got a call yesterday from this number and IT IS Expedia, they called because I had a bad opinion on my last reservation. Then I received a mail to confirm and it really was from Expedia.
- Caller: Expedia

- JkutahGot a call on my emergency use only cell phone. I do not usually have this phone on. Even if I had it on I would not pick it up anyway. No one but my family members have this number. I wonder how did they get my number in the first place. After reading all the postings, for sure I will not answer their call.
- Caller: Unknown, hotel.com?
- SkylarThis call came in but no one said anything. I could hear people in the background chattering like crazy. It was obviously a Call Center somewhere. The person who had dialed my number just never hung up and kept breathing in the phone. Obviously it was a mistake but the Caller ID was EXPEDIA, no mistake about that. I have not done business with Expedia so not sure why the call. The caller just left his/her headphone on forever and never discovered they had it turned on to the "call". I deleted the message, of course.
- Caller: Expedia
- HK| 1 replyWht I dont get is dat I booked a ticket from expedia in singapore, then I get a call from somewhere I dont even know. Expedia shld fix on this
- TheRealSeriously replies to HKIn English please
- Don't pest WesI booked a room through Expedia and had to cancel the reservation. Contacted their customer service site on-line and they offered a call back service so I did not have to wait on hold. 2 minutes later I got a call from this number. I answered it and the representative from Expedia took care of the matter. They even emailed me a cancellation approval notice. It's Expedia.
- Caller: Expedia
- JasonJust got call from this number twice 11 min ago back to back, let them go to voicemail and message was an automated message to press number when valued customer is on the line to talk to a representative (Never says what Company). If it is Expedia.com/Hotels.com I have never done bussines with them, so not sure if it's really is them.
- CharlesI got a fake e-mail from Expedia saying that my hotel booking was cancelled due to renovations and they needed to rebook me at 'no cost'. I made the mistake of writing back, and then next I started getting calls from 480-270-8191 and from 602-282-6149. Glad I checked here first and didn't answer. It seems that these scammers have a link to some Expedia info on your name and reservation, then they call and try to con you to give financial info. I did not answer either call--I called Expedia direct and confirmed that the original booking was still valid. They have a place to report phishing emails, so I did. One tip-off that the email was bogus was that the reservation number in the message was wrong.
- Ticked OffUsed Hotels.com to book a room for a little vacation. This number along with 602-282-6149 have called me 10 times today and it is only 10:45 am and they called me 6 times yesterday. I have them blocked as a robo caller. It is still annoying as heck! I won't use them again.
- Caller: Hotels.com/Expedia
- ChristinaI received 5 phone calls from this number at midnight.
