I must get at least 3 calls from this number everyday for the last week.  They never leave a message, and since I do not recognize the number, I do not answer it.

Several calls recently. One time just a few minutes apart.

I called back.  It said it was customer care department.  It wanted me to leave a message for them to call me back.

I've been getting a lot of calls lately from this number. I just called it back and got a message that it was a lady named "Lisa" from "Pacific East" (?). I really couldn't understand where she said she was from but she said she was "out of the office" and wanted me to leave my name and phone number for her to call me back.  I left a message asking her to take my phone number off of her list.  I hope it works!

I keep getting the same calls... it says its regarding "the delivery of your newspaper" a newspaper.  Every time I answer the phone they hang up without answering.  When I call back its the same recorded message, never an answer.  I left a message for them to remove me from their list but who knows.  I think its a phishing phone service.  I've heard about phones that transfer you to the 900 numbers once you call them.  Maybe this is one of those business'.

I keep getting this call to from the same number 1-480-374-1088 they keep calling but never leave a message they called today also Does anyone know who it is?

I received a call yet AGAIN from this phone number.  I called it back and a man answered the phone.  I asked him if he had tried to call my number, and he said no.  He's been receiving calls from people for a couple of weeks now from people stating he had left a message regarding newspaper subscriptions but he doesn't know how his number is being used.

Every morning this week between 9:00am and 10:00 am est, I have received a call from the 480-374-1088 phone number. No message. Very annoying. I refuse to answer my phone and have no intention of calling the number back. Good to read some information pertaining to this mystery number!

I live in Buffalo and it is a the Buffalo News Paper that is trying so sell me a subscription. They will not QUIT!!! You have to answer and tell them to never contact me again

I keep getting calls from this number and also when I answer they hang up. I did call back and got the same response about a newspaper delivery. How can we stop this company or person from calling?

My son answered today and it was a guy trying to get us to expand our subscription to the "Buffalo News" newspaper.  I'd been ignoring the calls because it comes up UNKNOWN NAME the # 480-374-1088. They've been calling at least twice a day for a few weeks and never leaves msg. on machine.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST in NY State, but since I subscribe to the Buffalo News it gives them permission to call. It's still b.s. telemarketers.

They've called numerous times during the past week.  Never leave a message!  Who are they?

Who knows who the hell is being scammed anymore.

This 480 number is an area code out of the Scottsdale, Arizona area.
Why in the world would the Buffalo News outsource an outfit where 1/2 of these people don't even speak English?  

Here's a resolution - don't call anyone back who you don't know.
That's what I've decided.  I'm glad I visited this website.

They keep calling and calling and calling and calling!  Ha!  Now I know, it is the Buffalo News!! I told them to go away and I told them I don't want the paper. WHY won't they leave me alone? A word to the wise do not order the Buffalo News because when you cancel they become stalkers. They call in the evening after work, they call in the morning, they call during the day.  They even call after you tell them you are not interested and there's nothing they can do to get you back. STOP CALLING ME!!!  Do you think they would publish a letter to the editor complaining about the phone calls?

The company is Lee Enterprises who owns many newspapers accross the US.  I solved this issue by contacting my local newspaper and having them remove my name and cell phone number from their system.  If you do the same the calls will stop.
