Calls almost daily and never leaves a message

Called today.  Didn't recognize the number so didn't answer.  Yet another number to block.

Whoever this is calls me daily and hangs up once I answer. When I called back the first time I was told they were looking for someone I've never heard of and promised to take my number off. They called the following day, hung up When I answered. WhenI called back I told the woman that I had already requested them to take my number off their list and that if I want removed I would report them. She said well go ahead you're the one calling me and hung up. Never gave any information about the company in either phone call.

I answered and they hung up. It's spam.

This is not "spam"; it is a scam, a con game. I had the4 same experience that they called multiple time and then did not answer when I picked up the phone. When I called back, some woman with a very heavy foreign accent, said they were calling about a check in the amount of $450 which they say I wrote and which bounced. They are prepared, she said, to send it to a collection agency, but they are running a special right now whereby I can get the matter resolved by sending them $275. This is all phony, of course, and should be reported to the authorities. When I told the woman she was a thief and should be arrested, she hung up.

No one on the line when they call, then when you call back it does not identify who they are, just places you on hold forever

Same as all the others, these people call on the daily, first it is a man then it is a woman, ask for proof in paper via postal mail, it is interesting though everytime they call me someone tries to hack into my financial accounts the next day, usually on Sundays.  I could hear him on the other line, talking to his associate about the con, guess he thought he had it on mute, wow, hang up!

A lady with a heavy accent called saying that I wrote a bad check to Rose Lockhart in October of 2014 and needed to settle the debt or they were going to refer it to criminal court.  I offered my attorneys phone number and she hung up.  I knew they were lying, I've never even wrote a check before.

Number keeps calling. Nobody ever on the line when I answer. Just Block and save yourself the hassle.

This number called and it being a missed call I decided to call back to find out what the matter was about.  A female representative comes on the line and gives me someone's name and the last four digits of their social security number. I am not the person they were looking for but that is completely illegal.  I asked multiple times for their company name and they would not tell me.

They called today and wouldn't tell me who they were calling from. They insist you tell them who you are and I wouldn't so they hung up. I asked this woman multiple times who she was with and she hung up.

Three calls in the last couple of day, no message left

These people have been calling every day when I answer they hang up.  Today I answered the call and they were asking for someone with a name similar to mine and they had the last four of my social.  They asked me to verify if that was the last four of my social when I wouldn't verify I asked who they were or what company they were calling from.  She repeated her name to me (Vine) and asked me again to verify.  I asked her again what company she was representing and she hung up.  I called the number back and they asked me to verify my name and asked me if I was the person they had originally told me they were looking for, I told them no that I wasn't that person.  I asked the man what company it was that I was calling and he said: "Well if you are not the person we are looking for then it is none of your business is it".  I hung up.  WTF

received a call from this number, i answered but didnt say anything - not even hello; i could hear a call center in the background, no one on the other end said a peep, just hung up after 10 seconds or so.  I blocked the number now.

They keep calling me, never leave any message either.

Keeps calling but leaves no message. I decided to call them and it stated “an agent will be with you shortly”...waited...waited...waited...no one came online.

Yep. Same. Situation. Its a scam.
