So much for being on the national no call list. That is a total failure.

I  just canceled my subscription to AZ Republic on Friday...i got  a call from this number today 8:26 AM

got a call today....didn't answer

Receive a call every morning around 8:30am. Picked up this morning and the guys says "you can go f*ck yourself" and hangs up. I cancelled my AZ Republic subscription back in March and this just started happening.

i answer these calls by playing loud music or blowing a whistle in their ear, plus they have to pay for the call when you answer.  It really works, they stop calling

i get 5 calls per day from this number starting from 7am to 9pm i have told them several times to stop calling this number

Continue to receive calls from this number.  I cancelled a subscription to the AZ Republic, based on other posts I am led to believe it is them that continue to call?

AZ Republic canceller as well.  Receiving numerous  -  no message left calls.

ID;d on my phone as spam. Never answer. Have previoulsy registered number with the DO Not Call govenment site but telemarkets pay no attention to it and the fed's wouldn't do anything anyway. Just one of those Feel Good federal programs thjat doesn't work.

It is AZ republic telemarketers, the call after you cancel your subscription. I have answered several calls and have told them that "I have moved out of state". Which I havn't, but it is my way of getting them off my back. Since then the calls have slowed down.

I have never had an AZ Repulsive subscription.  I get at least 2-3 hangups per day from these people for the last month (M-F).  I agree with an earlier poster that the Do Not Call list is a farce.  It's just something they did to pacify the complainers (which includes me).  I have a system where I can blacklist and/or block the number now.  Unfortunately it still rings once before the Caller ID can identify it.  You would think they would get the message.  But then again, it's most likely either an autodialer or some kid getting paid by the number of dials, so they don't care.  If they find a non answering number, they'll dial the number several times a day, with enough separation where the multiple dials won't necessarily draw attention.  Someone I know that used to work in a call center told me they did that.

3 more calls today, that brings it to about 52 calls in the last month.  That's harassment.  It may be time to talk to my attorney.

Canceled my subscription to AZ Republic in August and started receiving calls every other day from 602-444-1000.  I complained to AZ Republic customer service (asking to be removed from their call list) and I thought it worked because they stopped for about a week.  Now they've started up again (on a daily basis!) from a different number, 480-719-8037.  Don't they understand I will never subscribe again after this harassment?!

I've received these calls when I was a AZ Republic subscriber and and after I canceled. They called for weeks and never left a message. I'd call back and it would go to some weirdly recorded message about "this is circulation, you don't need to do anything, we just need to speak with you" and that's it. One day I finally picked up and they "just called to inform me that they are going to deliver the paper for free every day of the week as long as I'm still a customer." Shortly after, I canceled my subscription and I'm getting the call from this number again.

This is the AZ Republic calling to collect payment on those who did not cancel their subscription in time to revent going into the next subscription cycle. They are calling to collect on the 2 additional papers that they sent prior to stopping service. They will offer to waive the 2 paper fee if you renew.

Cancelled AZ Republic and now get calls from them 3-4 times a day, if I answer no one is there.  How do you stop this?

It is the Arizona Republic newspaper stating that I owe them money for a subscription that I canceled and they continued to deliver the paper for another 2 weeks after cancellation.

I just cancelled my AZ Republic subscription, this must be who it is. I agree with the others. It is wrong to sell our numbers!!

I cancelled my newspaper 2 years ago, Im on the do not call list, and I STILL get  calls from these idiots!

I've been getting the same phone calls for two weeks.  I would call back and leave a message, but they still harrassed me.  I did a reverse phone number lookup and found out it is the  telemarketing department for the Az Republic newspaper. So I called the newspaper and told customer service about it. The lady took my name and phone number and said she would put me on the "do not call" list and that the phone calls should stop in a day or two. Yes, I was a previous subscriber to the paper. We just recently cancelled our subscription in January 2012. Today is Feb. 8th.  The customer service number to the Az Republic is 602-444-1000.
