Appreciate your comments so I had a heads-up on this phone number. Same situation - cancelled newspaper and received numerous calls from this number without their leaving a message. Called AZ Republic and they added my number to their "Do Not Call list."

Haven't subscribed in YEARS to AZ Republic.....I'm now in Tx with a 480 area code from Vonage. Won't answer and they don't leave a message.....

Every time I answer they hang up! what is the point does it simply show that they called and they are doing their job whether or not that actually speak to me? I called and got the same info as stated above.. I left my name and number (figured they already had it anyways) and asked them to stop calling.  So we'll see how that works out for me

Just recently subscribed to AZ Republic and began getting calls from this #.  Same as others, no message.

We cancelled the Arizona Republic because we objected to their left-leaning political views.   Now they PESTER us 2-3 times/week calling, arm-twisting us to resume.  It isn't going to happen.  Further, their continued pestering us guarantees we will NEVER subscribe to their paper again.

I have been received calls from this number here at my OFFICE!  When I answer, the caller hangs up immediately.  Have no clue who it is.  Annoying!

Thanks for these postings. I was able to see the complaints and the strategies other subscribers had used. Based on this, I called AZ Republic and complained and threatened to send this list of complaints along with mine to the attorney general if I get any more calls. She said she had to add my phone number to the AZ Republic's internal Do Not Call list for these calls to stop. It will take 24-48 hours to take effect. We shall see. If it fails, the attorney general will receive my complaint this week. This is unacceptable, unethical behavior on the part of the corporation to knowingly allow  this kind of harassment to continue for years. I am glad I no longer support this company with my dollars.

Having read the previous posts within this forum... and experiencing the same situation, I too believe this is associated with cancelling Arizona Republic subscriptions.  I cancelled a week ago, and since then have been called by the following number, 480-719-8037.  This is absolutely unacceptable.  The Arizona Republic should not distribute this information.

All you guys have to do is to answer the call properly and say that you live in another state and they will take you out off the calling list.

I have answered and told them NUMEROUS times (they call from circulation 602-444-1000) and I tell them to stop - when they call from the other number 480-719-8037 they hang up - I've written, told them on the phone, etc and they DO NOT STOP - I filed a complaint with the FTC and maybe it will stop.

Same same! Cancelled AZ republic.... boom. Got the call once so far, and here I am. As if the lousy service I got from them wasn't bad enough, this crap has to start. If they keep it up, I will become a real pain in THEIR ASS!

I have been getting calls from this number since I cancelled the Arizona Republic.  When I answered no one was there.  I am on a do not call list and will be putting in a complaint on this.

it is....I did the same...4 or 5 a day...think they would get the cluse eh ?

I cancelled Arizona Republic a few weeks ago when they started charging over twice as much with No notification.  I got 6 calls from this Number a couple days ago.  2 calls this morning.

They try to sale you a "discounted" newspaper; However you get a better deal if you go through AZ republic

Selling news paper subscriptions.  How do you make them stop? They cal 5 6 times a day

They called, didn't leave vm. We canceled AZ Rep months ago (got lied to by a salesperson at a sporting event), so can't confirm it's for them. First time they are calling, to my knowledge.

I have recenly started getting calls from this  number .They say they have a complaint against me and to hold for an operator to hear the complaint. I live in south Carolina and have never subscribed or even heard of this paper .Guess ill try blocking the number ....

It's a spoof number, I let it go to voicemail n they did leave a message but for someone else... After I looked up number on here pple are saying it's a newspaper but it's not it's someone else spoofing the newspaper number..
