I have a loan with Wells Fargo for my car and if I even one day late, they call. Thanksgiving Day they called!!!!!!!!! Thanksgiving Day. After reading these posts (which are very helpful) I have decided to refinance my loan. Sc*ew you Wells Fargo! They call up to 10 times a day. I have stuff posted for sale on a popular listing site with my phone number and they called and asked me if Ihad sold that item yet and could send them my car payment!! WHAT! WHAT! I told that lady it was still for sale and if she wanted to buy it I only accept cash! Unreal. Is that an invasion of my civil right of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness? Because i am seeking all of the above and they are taking it away from me. Sucking the life out of my phone, bank account and happiness.
    Un-happy with wells fargo.

PAY YOU BILL by the DUE DATE then we won't call you :) You have a signed contract right? Yes. You know the terms and conditions of it right? Yes. You know your interest rate that you AGREED upton right? Yes. You took ADVANTAGE of our extension offers to defer a month or two of paymentst right? Yes. You know your Due Date right? Yes. SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? By Law, under the FDCPA Laws, we are allowed to call a # upt o 5x a day, depending on the state. If you don't want the calls, PAY YOUR BILL CORRECTLY AND ON TIME and no calls will be issued. Good Luck to yourself in life. If you couldn't afford the offer, then you should not have purchased the vehicle. It was all fine and dandy when we lent you X thousand dollars of money to get your vehicle, right? YES. We are NOT the FAULT for you DELINQUENCY. GOOD LUCK refinancing :)

Got call 6:30 a.m. with only Pennsylvania identified; they would not leave message; if this is Wells Fargo, they are way off-base, because I consider their business tactics aggressive and sneaky and choose any bank but them to do business with.

Its Wells Fargo. I've counted, they've called me from 10 different numbers in 2 days because my car payment was 3 days late, all numbers appear on this site. They really need that money apparently... they make it feel like you are their biggest source of income.

Yes. I agree. Stuff happens. I've made every payment on my car over the last 4 years. A few have been late. The problem is, they don't communicate when you tell one that a late payment is coming. By the way, we DO pay for their inconvenience of about 10 percent of the payment. So we pay the price. So we should expect better communication on their part, and not mass calling. Overall, though, Wells Fargo is polite, and works with me when I give them advance notice of a late payment. The collectors have a job to do, so be polite with them and explain your situation. It's not like dealing with the IRS.

I just stopped answering the phone.

I have a loan, I've gotten an extension and am 15 days late on the payment after the extension. I have NO money, I have NO unemployment coming until a dispute gets resolved.

I've explained to WELLS FARGO Fin. that I'm trying to work with the EDD to get the problem resolved and the lady I talked to was reassuring me that I was ok for now and to make the payment once it's fixed and to not worry for now.

I take it as an insult to send something to a collection agency after I've already explained the situation.

I'm 15 days late on the payment after the extension/payment skip. If Wells fargo feels the need to send my [***] to collections, they can deal with the insurance company after my car is found burnt to a crisp on the side of a lonely Ohio road.

Easy for you to say, because you are on the harassing end of the line. Shame on you for looking down on other people in their times of misfortune. I hope it happens to you one day so you can see what it feels like to be harassed.

If you are late on your payments there is nothing you can do to stop the company from calling. Also on the other hand you are also protected. According to the FDCAP laws (Fair Debt Collections Act Practices) they can call you up to five times a day and only between certain hours. Once they start exceeding the five daily calls start printing off copies of your phone records. Once you have 8 or 10 of those compiled you have options. You can go online and contact the the Better Business Bureau or you can go find you a good lawyer. You also have to inform them to quit calling you so many times a day.

Sanctimonious jerk! I hope you have tough times down the road. I have found WF is not the best company with which to deal. When my contract is up I will find another company. Caveat emptor.

Wells Fargo Auto Finance/They are unreal. Pay your bill they still call, say they just haven't posted it yet. What the hell. I mean. I have a confirmation number, they have my money but they say I haven't paid, they call upwards to 10 & 12 times a day. Most of the time they hang up when you answer so you have to call the number back to find out who they are. There is a grace period before you are considered delinquent according to the contract. I have no problem with someone contacting me if I am late, but give me a break. If you need to talk to me don't hang up in my face and don't be rude when I return your call and ask me personal questions that are none of your business. She answered the phone Wells Fargo can I have your Social Security Number, not can I help you, what do you need. They called me at 11:00 Sunday night after I made my payment. Never I repeat never do business with this Company. I am filing a formal complaint with the company.

A former employee must have set their office line as their contact line for Wells Fargo - we got a half dozen calls a day I believe and it hangs up before we hear anything.

To "Collector", Do NOT tell me to "pay your bill by the due date then we won't call you" Like you have any clue who I am or my issues w/ a sneaky POS company like Wells Fargo. I make my payments in full/on time every month as I am supposed to. That still doesn't stop you deuch bags from haunting me. I had my fricken car repoed because the Wells Fargo reps are so incompetent and decided to add insurance onto my policy, even tho I already had continuous coverage. Even after faxing my info and speaking to Many of you idiots, you still can't get it right & the calls continue and the insurance is still there. I have never dealt w/ such unprofessional morons in my life. F*@# YOU Wells Fargo & every 1 who works for you.

If I get the automated crap I just hang up.  IF they can't have a live person calling me then they can't get any of my air time period!!  I have even had them say " please stay on the line for a representative" and 30 seconds would go by with still no one.  So I say screw you!! Have someone live call me not a computer!!

I jst got a call from Wells Fargo asking for a Mr Rodriguez.  But when I first answered they called my real name and asked me if Rodrigues is one of my neighbors.  WHich I said not that I know of.
Since I have everything up to date and have no unpaid loans, I really do not have anything to worry.  But I would like to know why they called my nunmber, asked for my name to ask if my neighbor's name is Rodrigues and if he lives there.

It sounds more as if they were calling to check me out.  Thanks God that in my family there are 3 lawyers and one assistant dristric attorney.   My fathere is also an attorney and so is my wife!

Yeah, well it would be nice if WF actually opened and posted payments.  My due date has always been the 6th of the month and they would start calling that day.  I sent my payments in well in advance.  When they stop calling, I would call them to make sure they got it and their response was ALWAYS "Yes, we have it.  It was stamped that it arrived on the 4th, but hadn't been opened yet".  Do your damn job before you call me!
