They just started calling my home #. Like someone else said if it's a real business then why have a crazy # like that & unknown name? These calls get old & are a waste of time to answer ecspecially when they call at 5 or 6 am!!

I gotten two phone calls today (May 18, 2010) from 503-000-0000.  One at 8:30 a.m., the other at 10:37 a.m..  Both times no one answered, just dead air.

When I try to call back I get a message saying the number is restricted.

This number has shown up on my cell phone caller ID.  When I answered it, there was no one there.  The last time it came up, I answered hello 2 times then the line went dead.  I called my cell phone provider to see if they could help me determine who was calling and they instructed me the route to follow.  To my knowledge, I have no bad outstanding debt.

Like the poster said before. I get these calls all the time asking for Julie Meyer. I have had this number for 2 years and figured Julie had it before me. I guess it is some sort of phishing scam. If it keeps up I will contact the DA, cause this is such crap. If you really want money out of someone, you might want to make sure you call THAT PERSON!

I started receiving calls today from this number; three so far, all not leaving a message or not answering when I picked up.  I noted a mention above that says that NW Natural was involved at one time (but the reports are inconsistent, which makes me think that a legitimate inactive number has gotten diverted for a scam - wouldn't be the first time, even in this day & age the phone companies sometimes don't deactivate overlooked numbers - had a friend who made free calls for 18 months from an abandoned construction site in CA where they'd removed the ops trailer and just yanked the phone - if you could figure out how to patch in a phone, you were golden, and the billing goes into a dead file loop at the phone co).  Anyway, I *have* NW Natural, but they've called me before from their own toll free numbers, which comes up as "NW Nat" on the caller ID, *and* they leave a message - and we're on a payment plan now, so there's no reason for them to be calling us from an automated service.

These people call my house everyday 10 times a day!!! I am sick of them calling me!!!!! I have asked them to please stop calling me,and they keep doing it so now I am going to report them.

They call every day sometimes twice. I don't answer because it's on my cell. It's a fake number

I just got a call from this number and the person on the other end said it was marion county sherriff's office.

Have gotten at least two calls per day for the past few weeks on my cell phone. When I don't answer, they don't leave a voicemail, and when I do, I hear a beep and then the call disconnects.  Morons.

Just called the 800 number listed in someone's previous post.  If this business is in Oregon, it is currently 8:00 their time and I got a recording that said, "Our business is closed.  Please leave your name and number and we will contact you during regular business hours."  If they are a collection agency, they should still be open because you can call in collections until 9:00 pm.  Also, I have never called a business and not had them identify themselves in their recordings.  So glad I looked them up online.  We have recieved at least 8 calls from them just today!  Thank you everyone for putting information up on this number, it has come in very handy!

They left a message saying they were from Moutain View Golf Coarse. I've never heard of this place before. Never played golf n my life. They wanted me to call them back. I did not, dont care what they want.

This # has called me 8 times so far today. No answer, and never leaves a message.Just hangs up. I am also on the No Call List. How do I stop these calls??

no message; we just refuse to answer.  talked to Verizon, this number can be blocked in 'most cases'.

our phones required calling *228, answer option 1, wait for phone to be programmed.

will see if it works.....it worked a few years ago, but you need to repeat the *228 opt 1 process about every 30 days if new cell towers are activated in your area.

I see on my smartphone voice mesage from 503-000-0000.  Yes 503 is Oregon area code, but that number -000-000 is weird. I won't listen to the message and will delete.  

Any idea who this might be?
