been getting missed calls from 503-877-3590,  for months now, call ID says "Salem" something deceptive about changing your call id to say the city of your area codem why not be honest?. I answered last night and a guy said hi "jeff", Im like "Who"? said he was with Farmers insurance (someone else in this blog said state farm)
he only wanted to speak with jeff. thinking a bill collector? something odd about this, Farmers is a big reputable firm, why would they not display their own name? maybe just sales tactics.

When asked for the persons new #, I give them the , local police or FBI, maybe the Attorney General. I also found a sound effects web site, has the recording of this # has been disconnected or no longer in use( the tone sequence is supposed to thwart any future dialings). But I have not put it on my phone yet as I don't want to miss any important messages.

Have received this call on Oct 16 2010 Sat 12Pm I didn't bother to answer it." This call is due to Ease Dropping and Spying on people 's privacy . " Be aware of this matter"

Plus had gotten other calls such from unknown calls.
From Child Luke similar Salem,OR . Toronto,Ca or ON, Education Decision,Singer Ed.
some of those calls are not legitimate, Please look for these examples and any phone numbers that associate with these names. I also found out when answering  hearing noise in the back ground , noone
responded if the were ease dropping .

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago. The person said his name was Alex and he was calling on behalf of Allstate, they had my name and address. I told them that I was not happy with the fact that they had any information on me at all and not to call me anymore, before I could say anything else he hung up.

a few minutes ago i just received a call from 1-503-877-3590, they call constantly with nobody at the other end...

Just missed a call from this number.  Have two different lines going to the house.  I saw them ringing through on my first line but was engaged on the other end.  Right after, while still using the other phone, the same number called on my 2nd phone.  No message left on either.

I just got a call from them. They hung up on me as soon as I finished our company's standard greeting along with my name

Received voicemail.  "This is HBW Leads.  We are calling about insurance rates in your area.  If you would like to take advantage of this offer, or would like to be placed on our do not call list, please call 503-877-3590."

I called the number above and the nice lady said she'd take my number off their list.  Hope it works too!

Received same call today.  Farmers Insurance cold calling to "lower" my insurance rate.  Isn't it quite hypocritical that a company that touts their personal service hires some 3rd party telemarketing company to do their dirty work?  Farmers is the worst when it comes to this practice and they're the only company that is even using this tactic in most areas.  Reason1:  90% "agent" turnover every 3 months (they all quit after they've suckered their immediate family and friends and realize nobody else wants to switch to Farmers); Reason2:  About 10% of people called will actually give out their information (only between .5% and 1% of people called will buy insurance from Farmers because of the rarity that Farmers will actually beat another carriers price).  Stop the madness!  Put Farmers Insurance out of business (they're not even a U.S. company because they're owned by Zurich).  If you're with Farmers you're paying too much and there are better choices; if you're not with Farmers, don't give them the chance to sucker you in.  Call State Farm, Am Fam, Allstate or, better yet, an independent agency that can provide you some real choice like Auto Owners-rated tops in customer satisfaction.  Farmers consistently rates overall at the bottom of the heap-check out JD Power or Consumer Reports.

Farmers Insurance (actually 3rd party telemarketer) calling to offer me their new "lower" rates.  Yeah right.  Like a want to waste 15 minutes of my life and then some after some desperate sap of an "agent" starts harrassing me because he hasn't sold a single policy to a non-family member this month.   I've owned this number for over 5 years and telemarketer asked for someone I don't know and who hasn't owned the number for over 5 years.  Hmmm...?  Stop the madness!  Those few of you sharing your personal information via an unsolicited sales call--Please. Stop it.  For the large majority of the rest of us-Solution:  "No thank you.  Please take me off your call list."

Just moving into new house, hadn't even unpacked boxes yet, just got telephone turned on and the first call that comes through is this 503-877-3590 number!!!!  I expressed what a shame it is, that someone somewhere sells a list that allows this harrassment!!!  I told the woman that I didn't give her permission to call me and to remove my number from her lists.  SHE LAUGHED at me as if I said or done something wrong!!!  What type of society have we reduced ourselves to, when your personal and confidential information is used for the selfish gain of others!?!?!?  By the way, she was calling on behalf of Allstate!

I gotta call from this number, but I didn't answer it. It said the number was from Oregon. Don't know anyone there, so I didn't answer it.

Thank you for the lead on the 800 number.  Hopefully I have now been removed from their list too.

I work for State Farm and this isn't State Farm.  Could have been Farmers or All State.

Called them and the calls stopped then after about a week we started receiving calls again

Thanks for the info on the 800 number.  I called and the lady removed me right away.  She was very pleasant and didn't ask any questions.

Called these jokers back to request to be taken off their call list.  I'm on our local no-call list, btw.  A few days later, they're back at it.  Reporting them today.

I receive calls from this number every couple of days. they do not leave a voice mail. they try to get a live person. I tell anyone who calls and gets one of us live, that we don't buy anything over the phone. Send me something in writing.

This usually ends the harassment for a week or so.
