- HeatherGuy said he was from Windows Technical support. I said you are calling my work number and I cannot take calls. He proceeded to say "give me your number" repeatedly. I got so frustrated I said "F you" he then said "F you, you are a hacker, you are a liar" repeatedly. I said "oh I see you remember the English sayings that people have been telling you when you call". I hung up, he continued calling me over 15 times in 7 minutes. I blocked his number.

- LSCaller ID from Alb., NM. Woman with heavy Indian accent said that they were receiving messages that my computer was being hacked every time I went on the internet. Asked if I was in front of my computer and if it was on. Told me to hit a key in the far corner (couldn't understand what she said). When I told her I didn't have that key - that I have a Mac - she immediately said ok and hung up.

- CWG40 replies to T.The DNC is really meant for law-abiding businesses. It can't stop hard-core criminals from India or anywhere else from calling you. Call blocker is your best bet.
- oldgeezerComputer scam - put this number in your call blocker- you can hear the boiler room activity in the background. sad to receive a call like this on the 4th of July.
- Not born yesterdayI have had numerous calls from these a**holes. Always telling me my computer is sending messages. I'm actually starting to enjoy wasting their time. Argue with them for a while, then put the phone on the counter until they hang up.
- FLTold me my computer was sending out viruses and spam. I'm a computer engineer, so knew this was BS. I told him so and that he was a spammer. He hung up on me. Number is now blocked via my internet phone service.

- InteruptedGot a call from 505-349-4654. Man with very heavy Indian accent telling me they were getting messages from my computer that I was downloading harmful programs. He asked me to get on my computer and give him information. Not in this life time! Said he was from Windows IT Tech (but not Microsoft). I told him I am on the National Do Not Call list and I would report him. He continued to persist with his script. I asked if he understood me and could repeat what I said. He re-read his script, ignoring my words. I had to hang up on him as he would not go away.
- RadishmomSecond call in 3 days claiming to be "Windows Support" (first one showed only "Out of Area, no #). Both times, caller had Anglo-sounding name, but thick Indian/Pakistani accent. Second one asked for my (badly mispronounced) name and gave this # on CID. Heard enough about this to know it was a SCAM and hung up pronto.

- Jessica| 1 replyGot a call from this number twice today. The first time I did not pick up the phone as I did not recognize the number. After the first call, I Googled the number and came across this site. After they called again at 8:15pm, I decided to pick up to prevent further calls. The man I spoke with had an EXTREMELY heavy Indian sounding accent and I was barely able to understand what he was saying. From what I could understand, he said he was calling from Window Tech Support and that my computer had been sending out error messages. I told him that was definitely not the case. He proceeded to say my husband's first and last name and asked if that was my name (I would imagine to make it seem like it was a legit call.) Not sure where they got my husband's name from considering the phone is under his name but the number is unlisted. Anyway, he proceeded to insist that my computer was sending out error messages until I interjected and told him that I had a Mac computer and therefore did not have Windows. There was a long silence and then he hung up on me!

- JessicaI got yet another call from this number with an Indian sounding man trying to tell me that he's calling from Windows. Well I ripped into him and told him that I was aware of his scam and that this was harassment and if he didn't stop calling me I'd contact a lawyer. There was a long silence and I said "Do you understand me? And are you removing my number from your calling list?" And he said "yes" and I hung up! So over these calls!
