Talk about HARRASSMENT!!! I receive a minimum of 10 calls a day, EVERY day from 8:00 A.M. - 8:55 - P.M. CST! The messages on my voicemail are HELLO, HELLO, HELLO, HELLLL-OOO until the call finally disconnects. I am on the Do Not Call list & have filed a complaint against Empereon Market. This is a desperate, unprofessional company with desparate, unprofessional employees that does not belong in any form of business.

well. I actually live not to awfull far from this place. I am originally from VA. Moved to this area of PA for my girlfriend. I work for a marketing firm in dubois pa which is the same distance away as coudersport for me. I am actually thinking of applying at this company. I know that the users who have posted here are probably fed up with those types of calls. I know because I make similar calls all day long and people just seriously hate telemarketers. But if I may say, the people that are calling you are just as unhappy about having to call you, as you are of getting the call. But in this area there are very few jobs available. Unless you work in a Saw Mill or a carbon factory then your in a convenience store or fast food. And even those are far and few between. So if you get another call from someone like that understand that they are trying to make a living. Pay there bills! Yes its annoying, but its just a phone call. Get over it. And oh yea...theres really no such thing as a national do not call list. Thats a waste of money if you ever purchase anything off of t.v or internet, your information gets sold and passed around constantly. so anyways i might be calling you ...hahaha

They call my cell phone daily, never leave a message, and the only info I can get on my phone is that the call is from Las Cruces, New Mexico - And I live in CA.

Getting calls from 505 647 9618 irrspective of working days or weekends

I'm getting weird phone calls once a day from 1-505-647-9618, showing up as "Empereon Mkt". It's always when I am gone or sleeping, so I've never answered it. I always get a message on my answering machine with some guy going "Hello, hello, hello".
I don't understand what this company is about....are they trying to sell something or harass people? There's something really shady about them...

They call at least once a day usually at 8:45pm-what good is the Do Not Call List if these types of calls are still being received by people.
Can't anyone stop these fools?

I'm getting these at least two or three times a day. I have answered and there is always nothing on the line. The last time was some guy yelling "hello?, HELLO!?" I just hung up and added them to my blocked call list. I'm also on the DNC list. So will file a complaint.

Dude, every thought of taking your girlfriend back to VA and getting a job that is actually beneficial in this world? Don't rationalize doing a job that is useless and annoying. I'd respect you a heck of a lot more if you worked at the convenience store or sawmill.

its funny i work at emperion and when ppl are bitchy at us i just turn volume down and laugh i dont care i have bills to pay it a [***] job but whatever and when u [***] about the the national DNC list  its for new companys not to call u if u have our cable we can and just ask and u can be taken off our lists whoo real hard hahahaha

and when someone is trying to be a tough guy whoo ima yell at a telemarketer cuz there pieces of [***] or when i get messed with i just hit busy so u get another call in about 20 mins hahaha

Folks these people are trying to make a living and if you think getting phone calls is bad try not being employed.  If we regulate the laws anymore all of these folks will be out of work and you know who has to pay for them on unemployment (WE DO)!  Just a little fact call centers nationwide employ more people than the military and teaching profession combined (thats a fact - look it up on the interne).  So I will be happy to ignore these calls to keep them employed our taxes and economy are already off the charts.  So take the calls or just stop answering the phone.  Just keep these folks employed and stop trying to regulate everything this country does.

I have worked for this company, I left because it is a company who only cares about money! They don't care if the 90 year old aldy just lost her husband and is in the middle of planning the funeral, you are still supposed to try to sell the lady some thing. The policy is to get the sale or push till they hang up. I am glad that charter,cox,comcast ect is not local because I would refuse sign up for a company like this! Also 80% of the people I worked near, when the customer asked to be put on the do not call list or was complaining about the number of the calls, they just select "line busy" in the end call section, this just makes the number go back in the call list to get called again the same day!

Have you ever thought that maybe these are the only jobs available in tiny areas. If you just pick up and hang up or ignore they will call again. It is actually better to just take the call kindly and then ask that you be put on a Do Not Call list and there you go problem solved. So while your taking time bi tching about how you hate these calls you have enough time to effin blog about how shatty it is. WoW.

P.S. Some people like to feed there kids!

So their only trying to feed their kids by calling me? They are low life scum. They should go deal drugs, that way they at least have a willing clientele and don't have to cold call honest people and violate the DNC laws. I have a loud whistle next to my phone to let them know how much I appreciate all their hard effing work annoying me.

Well first off I wanna say, the "National Do Not Call List" does not work if you are a customer of the company Empereon is calling for(Charter, Comcast, or a newspaper).. Since you are a customer they have the right to call you.  I know it gets frustrating, but if you would just tell the person calling, please take me off your list then you wouldnt get called anymore.  Its there job, dont be pissed at them be pissed at the company, they are trying to make a living, thats it. There not doing it to harrass you. The calls come through a automatic dialer they dont pick the call, so to all your pissed off people just ask the agent to take you off there calling list and they would be happy to do so.

OK so dealing drugs is better than calling people all day...GROW UP and BE REAL....Go ahead and blow that whistle in your phone, I am sure they sit on the other side and laugh...You would rather have drug dealers on the street than answering your phone and telling them to put you on there Do Not Call List...Your a real smart person.

Called today and said they were the cable company and then gave me their number telling me to call them on my voicemail but they don't say why. Have called before. Going to make DNC complaint. I don't pick up the phone or return the call.

I worked at the company Empereon Marketing for the summer so I could make some money for college..I live in a small town where there are literally no other jobs available.. I applied every where.. did not want to have to work there. Anyways.. You people who are complaining and saying that you are on the National Do Not Call List.. it doesnt matter because as long as you have a relationship with the company (Charter, Comcast, or whatever company they are calling for) they legally can call you, unless you ask to be placed on there internal DO Not Call List.. and to be placed on the list you have to ask to be taken of there list or to be placed on the do not call list.. you can not just say dont call here.. and the people who are calling you dont really care if you like the serives or dont.. so dont complain to them.. it is on an attomated dialing system.. so we did not chose to call you the company we called for gave Empereon your number and it was placed in the dialer list.. It is nothing personal.. but if you are rude to a person they will hit the busy button and u will get called back in like 10 mins. so be a little nicer or just hang up the phone. its not that hard..
