- Katy TXCalled my dang CELL PHONE and did not recognize it so I let it rollover to vm, which of course they never leave you a msg. I had a friend who used to keep a police whistle next to his landline, made sure the telemarketer or other parasite was listening real good, then BLAST 'em with it. Got his number off their lists pretty fast. I like the new survival whistles, they're even shriller and louder. Awesome good practice!
- DianePressed 1 to speak to customer service representative, asked who I was speaking to and person stated "Card Services", asked which card and caller disconnected the call.
- Caller: ???
- DonnaI didnt recognize this number on my cell so I didnt answer. I called the number back on my work phone and it was a busy signal. I am tired of these darn companies who are able to get around the do not call block and it pisses me off. I am constantly getting calls from this number. It also left a voicemail which i will get after 9pm tonight. These scammers have got to be stopped.
- AngieI DON'T understand why ppl answer calls from #s they DON'T know!!!!!! If you have a personalized voicemail & they leave a message, CALL BACK; if they don't leave a message, DON'T CALL BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if you DON'T have a personalized voicemail, follow the SAME RULES.....CALL BACK if they leave a message, IGNORE if they don't!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEVER call back unknown #s unless they leave a voicemail, & I get 1-2 spam phone calls a month. Saves a Lot of hassle & aggravation!!!!
- Angie replies to ridiculousDon't answer unless you Know the #; if they leave a voicemail, listen & decide if it's legit & you want to call back. I get maybe 1-2 spam phone calls a month b/c I DON'T ANSWER UNKNOWN #S!!!!!!!!!
- goofy| 1 replyOK here what you do to block them. If you have a smart phone like a galaxy express or what ever. hold down the number that is in in your call log then there should be a screen that pops up hit the add to reject list and you will never get a call from them again. I was shown this trick by the ATT people.. hope it helps....
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Artd52Yep, me too - what a waste!!! Thanks for the "heads-up" in the posts everyone!
- Caller: Card Services

- AnneI receive calls from this # and when I answer, no one on the other end. Then a hangup. I redialed and was told that I could not dial the number given. Even used the "1" before the rest. They call on my cell and I am on the do not call list and do not have loans, credit cards, outstanding bills. Am reporting them to the do not call site.
- Azrockn replies to ridiculousDon't answer. When you do it validates your number and they'll call again.
- JBobperson claims to be calling from "your credit card company" about lowering the rate, but doesn't know my name and can't specify which company. he called me an [***] when I kept asking questions and then hung up on me. phishing for info, probably for ID theft, be careful.
- Caller: Scam, Phisher
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Ronda CollinsReceived a call from this number @ 10:38 am and talked to some guy who gave his name as Ryan McGill, when asked what state he was calling from he told me company was based out of California. Also asked for physical address and he told me not allowed to give physical address. I told him he must be a scammer as if was a legitmate company he would give the address and he hung up. I don't understand why the hell they keep callling cell phone numbers. Evidently they don't care they want your money one way or another by making you pay for their call. I will not answer their call again I can assure you that.
- Caller: No name

- TheoCalled my business line while I was away from my office; did not leave a message.
- "Anthony H Slowitz"Another one of the spoofed numbers used by the "card services" scammers in their attempts to rip us off. Google my name to learn how to stop their annoying calls, while also having some fun!
- Caller: "card services" scammers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- B. White| 1 replyI had a missed call from this number but when I called back the number, the message advised me that the call couldn't be completed as dialed. I am on the Do Not Call registry so why am I getting calls from solicitors using up my valuable minutes?
- Warren replies to B. WhiteYou continue to get the calls because the callers are the drug- addicted card service scammers, who are not a legitimate business--they are simply criminals, who don't obey the do not call list, and are out to cheat us. They pretend to be associated with our credit card companies in order to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. Beware of the lowlifes, and warn others before they are cheated!
- maryThis is the third time this number showed up as missed call. tried returning call as family is all over the US, got only busy signal. Thanks to all of you who have posted info...now I know it is just junk and nothing worth my time.
- Caller: unkown
- Barb M| 1 replyThey called me at 10:20 am on 7/3/13. I missed the call and they left no message. I've seen some people say these scammers are drug addicts. How can you be sure? They could simply be scamming for credit card numbers so they can buy things they don't have the money for. But, I worry it could be something much more sinister...perhaps people looking for sources of money to fund all these terror cells popping up all over the country and to buy supplies for the next big attack. It's already been 12 years since 9/11 (can you believe that?). It's only a matter of time before the next even bigger one. I really hope the gov't is thinking like I am and doing something about it, because I really want to live another 30-40 years! They need to rebuild the phone system so that it's possible to trace all these calls in which the numbers have been spoofed so they can actually catch these idiots and put them in jail or slap them with heavy fines.
- Caller: unidentified
- Tom replies to Barb MThe information posted that the majority of the "card services" scammers are either drug-addicts or ex cons, or both was printed in the AARP Bulletin as a warning to people, especially seniors, as to the dangers of giving out personal information to unsolicited callers. There are numerous separate groups of these lowlifes calling us, so it is possible they could have different motives for trying to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off.
