I received calls from them many times a day. Never answered them. They never left a voicemail. I decided to turn the tables on them one day, so I called the number back (508-475-1968). I was welcomed with a recording that said "Thank you for calling us back. If you would like to be removed from our calling list, press 1." So I pressed 1.

Just received call today, same as above Home Security G ...

I'm also on the Do-Not-Call Registry and I still get calls from 508-475-1968.  I don't answer it because I know it's a marketing call.  I don't give out my number either.

Has anyone pretended to be interested in buying from this telemarketer? According to the link above, calling them back and requested to be removed from their calling list doesn't work. I think they only put that there to be legal with the government because they can say they do let the "customers" request to be removed from the calling list. Until there are huge amount of complains, nothing will be done to the telemarketers. Changing their calling number from time to time also "resets" the complains because it's a new number. In the end, the telemarketers don't get stopped because they are always one step ahead in getting away.

Problem with telemarketers today is they use automated dialing and they simply do it like email spammer have been doing for years. Difference is they know most phone owners don't have a good way to auto filter them out like spam email filters. (When I was shopping for a phone that has number blocking ability, every sales person told me they never get request from customers asking for a phone with such feature. Why is that?) From thousands of numbers the telemarketers called, they know a few phone receivers couldn't say no or ignorance enough to buy from them, just like spam emails. Look at the history of email spammers that did get caught, very few. How many on phone telemarketers?

As long the government doesn't care much about how spammers and telemarketers use their strategies, not much will can be done to them.

I've getting this annoying phone call and had suspected it was a telemarketer. Whatever ever happen they charge you for both now 1.) To make your number public and 2.) To make your number private. How did this ever become the norm ??? I just want to be left alone while the economy heals...

My boyfriend has been getting calls from this number recently and this morning they called him at 7 am on his personal cell phone.
If they call again ANSWER and get their name and tell them you have their name and number and you'll be reporting to the attorney general because it is highly illigal for them to call your personal cell phone and all tellemarketers are very aware of this and that the number was a personal cell phone.

I have forwarded this link and my call history from these creeps to FBI contact page!  FCC never does anything until it's too late.  Need action on ALL these low-life scum.  Please do the same on every telemarketing call you get.  It's either ID theft, or very bad marketing behavior.

They keep calling, but there is no one on the line.  Wish I could block the number as they call several times a day

Got this call several times in last week, answered once and they wanted to give me $50 to test drive a car! Couldn't believe it when I declined. They still call though but don't talk when I pick up.

Another crock call from  "home security" offer.  I don't quite get what all this posting does. ??
Is someone going to follow-up these complaints and STOP the call?? And sooner than 6 months from now?

I called back after reading this blog.  All the recorded answering voice said was to Press 1 if I want to be removed from their "preferred marketing" list.  So I did.

I've noticed that I'm suddenly getting telemarketer calls on my phone. I've been on the Do Not Call Registry since it started a few years ago.

No problem for years.  Now suddenly I'm getting at least 2 telemarketer calls/month.

That's two too many.

I have started in the last two days to get this number calling me if I don't know the number and no voice mail I don't answer....

I get calls daily, they hang up when I answer.  Att will charge 4.99 per month in order for me to block calls.  Please stop these annoying theives!
