Caller id name: John H Peterson... This time, he identified himself as Kevin Johnson, but spelled it Jonesones.  I asked him for his SSN - he gave me like 14 digit number.  I asked him when he was born (1991), then I asked him to quickly calculate his age... He finally hung up.
Sounded like the same guy that has called 5 previous times ("Your computer...").

I keep getting calls saying that they are from Microsoft and my computer is not getting it's updates. They ask if I am by my computer so they can help me fix it. When I tell them my husband was in IT for years they try to tell me only they can fix it. I have gotten at least 6 calls about this and they won't let up.

I received the call from a man claiming to be calling in behalf of Microsoft. They claimed Microsoft reported my problem to them and that they were authorized to fix the issues. Supposedly my computer IP address was pinging back to Microsoft.
I let them show me what appeared to be a series of PROBLEMS with my computer being hacked and full of viruses as well as having had a number of internal Microsoft programs having been shut down by the hackers.  I started to buy into the scam until my bank thank goodness would not allow my card to be used.  At that point I ended the whole deal.  I blocked my card and the Bank of America told me the attempted charge was from DUBAI in the middle east.  Do not answer any call from this number as it is all a fraud. I scanned my computer and nothing showed up.

Ditto the others.  We screen calls. Never leaves a message. Calls on both cell & land lines. Has been going on for weeks. Once in a while I'll answer - I've been getting ruder each time. Ha!

It will do no good to block a number.    These [***] have a way of using a non-working number that will ID on your phone.  They use new numbers all the time.    The latest scam is the "refund" from Microsoft.   They will we send you an email for you to provide all your banking information, i.e. account and routing number, so they can direct deposit the "refund."    I told him to send me a check and he hung up.    It is also fun to answer the call with, "FBI, this is agent Peterson." they can't hang up fast enough!    If I am in the mood, I like to see how long I can keep them on the phone.......just play stupid with them.   It is amazing how hard they will try to get your cooperation!

Got the same song and dance. However, this jerk claimed that my 3 computers are sending an excessive amount of erroneous data etc, etc, etc. I actually have 4 computers.  He stated that the erroneous data was sent from my address.  Yes he knows my address.  Scary.

Caller ID showed "Massachusetts" only, along with the ph#. A foreign sounding man asked me "Is this (my name) ? I paused, then yelled "don't ever call here again put me on your do not call list"  and hung up before he got one word in.

I just received the EXACT SCAM CALL mentioned in ALL posts related to this phone #. I'm REALLY confused as to why, with all the info available about this #, that this # has been used by these "insects" to scam Americans that our federal authorities have done apparently NOTHING! Googling the # gave ALL INFO NEEDED to find these ass*****, so what's the deal?!?
