Claiming to be IRS and are looking for me...scam for sure. Busy signal constantly when I call back....

I screen all calls, so didn't answer the phone. An "automated" message was left saying that I am being sued by the IRS, and to call back to this number. (I would love to call and give them a piece of my mind, but am resisting that temptation).

The pre-recorded message is a scam. The message is left by automated dialers set up by scammers in India & other foreign locations. The computers are programmed to call thousands of numbers everyday, to leave these threatening messages.

When you call back, you will encounter one of those Indian or other foreign scumbags who speak poor English! Recent immigrants and seniors are their primary target.

The IRS will never call anyone “out of the blue” and ask to pay. IRS will send notices through regular mail.

The IRS will always send written notice through the U.S. postal system of any taxes due, and will never ask for credit, debit or prepaid card details by any form of communication.

Scumbags calling about IRS filing a lawsuit on us.  Makes me wonder how many take these clowns seriously?

I have been called multiple times by 509-207-4150 and they want me to give them my information. I refused and then I was put on hold three times and hung up on all three times. Same message as everyone else on here. When you try to call back it's a muffled scrambled mess and you can't hear them. They are also calling from a New York munber 646 area code, but you can not call that number back.

automated call claiming to be IRS and filing a lawsuit for unpaid taxes - of course it was a scam.  I called back and they actually answered - someone with an Indian accent obviously not the IRS.  I kept him on the line for 20 minutes giving him bogus information in order to waste his time (hey, I'm retired, got plenty of time) then told him I had recorded the whole thing an was reporting the call - his gasp as audible

Do a search on call blocking devices and phones.

I have gotten several calls saying I am being sued by the IRS. It is either a computer voice or thick Indian accent. Total scum.
