Also received a call here about the "IRS" filing suit.

However, I know the IRS would send a letter, not call from a number that cannot be called back.

Tried to return the call and it says "number out of service" -- just 2 minutes after I missed it!!

Received a phone call today stating that I was being sued and that I needed to call back immediately!!

Same as the others, received a call from 509-315-1174 stated it was there final attempt at contact and were filing suit, failed to say who in the household they were attempting to contact, what specifically it was regarding, ect, attempted to contact back, to no avail, putting in a complaint w/the IRS... Why can't people find something better to do with there time then scare the crap out of people.. So much for the theory do unto others as you would do unto you.

Received call & did not answer. Voicemail said IRS. Filed complaint at www.tiga.gov

I got the same call and called back and spoke to someone from India. I hate those [***].

This is a scam, don't worry about calling them back.  The guy actually told me he needed my address to "come have fun with me", then he needed my SS# etc.  If the the IRS were trying to reach you, they would not call you, they would send you a certified letter.

people this is a scam !!!!! the irs has to first send a letter.

i have received messages from 509 315 1174 on my cell number.  when I return the call the phone is answered "internal revenue service'  I know that the IRS does not call people on their cell phones.

IRS is filing a lawsuit message.
