sounds as though you work for them or are a member.  Nonetheless, they are no better than any telemarketer.  We did not solicit their calls, nor are we members.  If we want to be members or support their lobbying efforts, we will do so on our own.  I, for one, will block their number and advocate that everyone do the same.

Note that both "Gail and Cat" have left messages on this forum which are clearly scripted by this organization.  I went to their web site and they appear to be a loosely associated anti Obama group.  As I said in my reply to "Cat" on previous page, they  are no better than any telemarketer.  We don't want to be bothered by you.  I find it amusing that such organizations purporting to be fighting for "American's rights" are so out of touch with what Americans want.  We will examine the issues ourselves.  We don't want to be dragged by the nose by organizations such as yours.  Stop calling us.  We will block your numbers and continue to support the technology that allows us to do so.  Go Away.  We can think for ourselves. We don't want your "help."

This is only the beginning of the twisted half truths and political mudslinging. With the SUPER PACS's millions of dollars to spend on advertising, robo calls, poll taking etc. we will be seeing more and more unfamiliar phone numbers that don't leave voicemails. I love when they don't leave messages.That's how I know it's not important enough for me to even think of returning their call. In 2008 I used to get lengthy messages that used up the time on my voicemail, from the slime bag republicans spewing their racist accusations and fear mongering rumors.  Once they even used a snippet from a Rush Limberger radio show trashing Obama and the democrats. Unbelievable how low some people will stoop to try to steer some paranoid voters to the far right.

I got this call too. Googled it and it said that it was a mortgage company trying to get you to refinance. I hat these people.

Tried to call them back..it said no such number.

These calls are from a radical right-wing group that claims to be a "nonpartisan" 501c4.  One look at their website and you can see it is anything but nonpartisan.

They just left a message. Press 1 for Republican, Press 2 for Democrat, etc thru 6

There was no message.

I picked it up and there was nobody on the line. That number is Oakland, Ca.

I work 2 jobs only closes family and bosses have my number but this number called twice to wake me to it is uncalled for .

@Buggs:  Well, if I get a Dem robo call I'll [***] about it on here too.  So far it is only GOP group calling my cell and using my minutes.  So save your political name calling for a poltics website.  amazes me that anybody defends these tactics and robocalling cell phones.

Received on my cell at 1705 Eastern Thurs 19 Jan 2012, I answered, they immediately hung up.
