Person identifying himself as 'mr jackson' from an attorney's office SOMEHOW managed to call one of my coworkers and ask if I was available to talk. Mr Jackson didn't identify the attorney's office he was calling from (and my coworker rightfully advised he didn't know if I work at the company or not-he only passed on the message to me after checking if I did or not via our company directory).

I don't know anyone named 'Mr Jackson' that works for an attorney's office in Austin, TX....so I don't know why this 'Mr Jackson' would be calling my coworker prying for information

Received call saying police was coming to get me so I start asking questions

Just had a call from this number and threatened my mom that she would go to jail if she didnt pay $900 she said didn't have the money and then he said he would settle for $500 and not call the police, then said before he hung up to be nice to the cops when they took her away in handcuffs

A guy told me he was from the attorney general's office and someone was pressing charges on me but he couldn't tell me who  or why because he's just a paralegal. I told him that if he couldn't give me any information I knew it  was just  a scam, and then told him next time put an American on the phone (he had a heavy accent). That must have upset him because he then told me the sheriff would be on their way to get me and I would spend 9 months in prison. 9 months?  that's an awefully specific number for someone that won't tell me what the charge is. It's a scam!!!!

I have received several calls from this number.  The last time, a man with a heavy Indian or Pakistani accent, left a message.  He claimed that he was with the Attorney General's Office and that I had charges pending against me.  The irony being that my wife actually is an attorney with the Attorney General's Office.  This is a complete scam.

Got a call... Just like everyone else they are from the Attorney General's Office.  All of them have a last name of White.  Seriously heavy accent.  This is a HUGE SCAM and I hope people are not giving them information.  When I told him it was a scam and I was going to have my attorney file legal actions against them and that they are not even American, they proceeded to swear at me and hung up the phone.

Someone from this number called my brother. They claimed to be from the attorney general's office and were coming to pick him up from his job or home if he did not pay back an alleged fraud loan. I called the number back and asked to speak to someone in the attorney general's office but the person hesitated and asked who I was again. I could here several people in the back ground talking telling people they owed money. Sounds like a very orgainized scam. If they worked this hard at a real job then they would not need to scam innocent people out of money.

I already had a totally 13 calls today I never answered just called back twice it rings and then it's dead like if there hearing so I called back and told them my number has a trap and then a other number call and I tell them theirs a trap on this phone. 5124104956 is from Austin, TX. And the other is 7272426652 Clearwater FL. Not only today, there are so many PNS that I don't recognize. What a bunch of creeps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jerks!!!!!!!!!!

was called a few days ago by someone saying they where from attorney generals i was not home so i called this morning and talked to a guy named edward marshall he said he worked in attorney generals and that i had committed a cyber crime and that i had to pay 1500 in one hour or i would go to jail for 7 years and would not send me any information on what was claiming as my charges.

I received a call from these creeps and I told them they had the wrong number, but insisted they didn't and that i would go to jail for interfering - then he proceded to call me a [***] and hung up on me and called back to harrass me 3 more times - I WISH he'd call back again ...

This Mr. Jackson keeps calling me and telling me his is working for a check and advance in New York. He is wanting me to send him $140 and his company will then in return send me 1500 for a personal loan. I am a single mother of five kids and three of them which still lives at home. I told them not to call me any more and they just keep calling. I found that they are fraud.
