I received two phone calls in one day from this number. The caller, a male speaking with a heavy foreign accent, identified himself as being from the U.S. Medical Agency, wanting to talk to me about my medical claims compensation. I told him there is no such agency, and he insisted there was. I continued to insist there was not, and made it clear that under no circumstances was he to call me again.

I searched online, and could not find a government agency listing for this number. This has to be some kind of scam. If it isn't, then I'm the queen of England. (Here's a hint: I'm not British.)

Me: Who's medical service?, What insurance company?"
Max: we are not like insurance.
Me: How did you get my number?
Max: We polled all the hospitals in the country.
Me: My number is on the do not call registry. Please respect me and remove my number from your list.
Max: mumble, mumble
Me: Will you do it?
Max hangs up.

Me:  Hello.
?:  Loud background noise for several seconds.  (which persisted for the whole call)
Me:  Hello.
?:  Hello?  <my wife's name>? Can you hear me?  (Indian accented voice)
Me:  Who is calling to ask for my wife?
?:  Hello?  Is <wife> there?
Me:  Why do you wish to speak to my wife?
?:  Can I speak to <wife>?
Me:  *click*

Called  my cell these people are scammer don't.  give them  any information.

I got a call from this number on my GoogleVoice number, and they didn't leave a message. Thank you for posting, I'll know what to look for.

Had a call at 2:09 today from this number. It was a missed call and they left no message. I am on the do not call registry so will be reporting unwanted calls to them.

I've had 2 surgeries in the past year, so I'm sure that's how they got my name.  Also the phone number they used helps confirm this as they used my older cell number, not the newer cell I just got in the past 4 months.  (Hubby is using the older phone now.)  Jerks called me at 6:50 A.M.!!!  I'm a 3rd shifter, had just gotten into a nice sound sleep when they woke me up.  I made sure to mention that and he acted like he didn't even hear me.  Guess he only knew how to read from his script (in his heavy Indian accent.)

He was trying to find out if any of my surgeries was for one of those Surgical Mesh Products I've seen in the news recently.  I know there are many court cases going on right now over them.  I refused to respond to his questions except to say I've had too many surgeries and that I had cancer.  (OK, so I had Thyroid cancer and it's 100% healed after removal of the tumor  when the entire Thyroid was surgically removed about 3 months ago .. didn't feel he needed to know that.  LOL.)  Most people react when they hear the word 'cancer', he didn't miss a beat and just kept reading from his script.

At that point I again repeated that it wasn't yet 7 a.m., which is too early for him to be calling this part of the country (Phoenix) and that he had woken me up.  He didn't even say he was sorry, just tried again to get me 'back to the script' in order to try to find out which surgeries I'd had.  I then asked him to remove my number from their list and hung up.

Called my cellphone at 7 am. No message left. I haven't had any surgeries in more than five years, based on the comments above, so I'm not sure how they got my cell number. Number said it was from Texas.

Same thing here no message left and when you try to call back it says call cannot be made please try again later

Got another call from 512-931-6548 this afternoon.  Man asked for me and said he was from the "US Healthcare Department".  I said there is no such "department".  This stunned him for a moment, and then he said he was calling to discuss my medical history.  I said that I don't discuss this over the phone, especially with someone who claims to be from a department that doesn't exist, I was hanging up and reporting him. They had called me six hours earlier at 7 this morning.  Said Georgetown, TX.

I got a call from this number on the 10th and 12th of Aug. The first time he didnt leave a message. The second time be said. "Yeah, «my name» I want to f*** you. I love you and I miss you and I want to f*** you." He had a heavy accent and sounded very intoxicated.

And it was also to my google voice number.

I got  more than five calls asking for me (first and last name) in a French accent. I'm kind of scared and I don't know what to do. When they call and I don't answer they don't leave a message and when I ask who it is they just hang up.

Keep getting calls from this number.  I wish they would stop!
