Same thing as the post from J. Call from a Kathryn Ballard saying she needed me to call her back immediately as this was a call of record, whatever that means. I get these occasionally from different numbers, so it is clearly a scam.

I got ANOTHER call from this twit, Catherine Ballard with her "call of record" from a DIFFERENT number on Friday...  Can we say SCAM?!?!?!

They called my number but I don't know what they want. Company comes up as Ncfi and Associates

3/19/15  Got a message on my Cell from a guy identifying himself as "Attorney Mark Smith" from this 513 Oho number.  He didn't even have my name right or even close to it.  He sounded like a collections guy so I checked it out.  The return number the message gave to call was 603 522 7202 which is this collections firm  http://www.tanassetrecoverygroup.com/ .

Just as I suspected, some lawyer who can't get legitimate work (is that even possible for lawyers ? . . .) who likely paid for a list from this collections group who spends his time on the phone all day trying to get $$$ out of people. One of the NPR (PRI ?) programs had a good show on collections.

If you are being hasseled illigitimately send all the info about these people you can to your state's Attourney General and a copy to the group who is hassling you. . I sent mine to the US AG years ago.   The calls stopped instantly.  I was being dunned for some bill occuring at some residence in a town where I never even lived.
