- Maybe a LinkI get several calls a day from 513-870-3692 and 513-878-3692. This could be Gen-Pac a debt collector for GE Money Bank. Does any one else get calls from the 513 number?
- Several Of ThemI receive several calls from GenPac. I have received calls from all of the numbers listed in this blog. I have not been answering calls from unfamiliar numbers for some time now, and I certainly do not call back any numbers where no message is left. Lately, my phone has not even been ringing when these people call. I think I can safely assume that these calls are "robot" calls (machine dialed, computer generated, etc.). A lot of times, these calls do not even show up in my "missed calls" log. If calls do not show up in any of my call logs, I really don't know if anyone called, do I?

- I Hope You Can Answer My Question replies to alm| 2 repliesI am very interested in what you had to say about this phone number. Today is Sunday, and I even got an automated call from them. Sunday may be a day of rest for humans, but, I suppose it is not a day of rest for machines, computers, autodialers, etc. When you say that it is illegal to call someone 2 calls per day, is that stated anywhere in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)? If so, can you point out what section of the FDCPA to read? It might even save a relationship that is worth saving. If you would be so kind as to reply here, it would be appreciated.
- lostsite| 2 repliesThey are now up to calling me every hour starting at 8:30am, Sundays and Holidays included. I have all the numbers blocked on my phone. All they get is a discounted message and yet that does not stop these incest idiots from India to keep calling. Yes it is a call center in India that calls. They masked it through to one of the numbers on this thread. The company is a collection company for GE Money/paypal credit card. I have been waiting to get a letter from them which by law they are suppose to do first in order to give time to the debtor to dispute the debt. These days none of these bottom feeders follow the law and as long as it is never enforced it will only get worse. Best thing to do is to change your number and never put it on any application or anything that has the potential to go into the main database.

- Me The Same replies to lostsite| 1 replyI have done the same thing. These people, or machines, call me from this number several times a day. I have this number blocked and when this number calls me, all they get is a message saying my number has been discontinued and is no longer in service. I am not ignorant of the fact that they change their number and still call. Now that I can block an unlimited list of phone numbers, anyone can try any number just once. If they don't leave a message, leave a message that is impossible to understand, or refuse to identify themselves (if I decide to call them back), the number is blocked, and I never hear that number ring my phone again. I also call back (if I decide to) from a preaid cell phone which I paid for in cash, and when I need to add time, I pay for the time cards in cash. That way, if they decide to trace the number, all tehy will find out is where the phone, and the "add time" cards were purchased (they can't find out who purchaed them because they were paid for in cash). I especially love calling back the toll free (800 888 877 866 855) numbers, because they have to pay for the calls. It is worth using up air time to constantly call them and run up their phone bills for a change.
- revmltI received a call from 877-828-1860 - or actually, our church elevator telephone (the one for someone stuck in an elevator to use in case they are stuck) received the call and the answering service called me, the pastor, at 6:15 Sunday morning. They left a message from a "Mark Wilson" asking for a call back.
When I called back from my home phone (number blocked to them) the person who answered had an Indian accent. Could not connect me with a Mark Wilson and they asked for my name and SS#. Would not give me any info.
Obviously a robo-call.- Caller: Gen-Pac
- Jay| 3 repliesGenpac, a GE bill collector. If you have a Lowes, Walmart, Paypal, JC Penny, etc Cards, then they are calling for you or the person who had your number last. Either block the call or tell them they have the wrong number. Do not bother with these corporate greedy businesses, it is their fault you could not pay your bill anyways because you lost your job or whatever circumstance that has come about because of their greed. Screw corporations and their republican pawns.

- No more talking to them| 2 repliesToday it is 9:13 am and they have already called 3 times already. Different numbers they call from constantly. I have talked with this company until I can not talk anymore. Constantly calling, wanting me to post date checks for payments I can't guarentee payment being at the bank for and I have told them this. Money is soooo tight right now and I can't pay them. I want to pay them what I owe but can't right now. These people want me to borrow money to make payments or post date bad checks. That will put me in worse shape I am in. When I explain this to the reps that call I get smart remarks such as "If you want the calls to stop then pay on the account", "What are your intentions", or they keep trying to get you to post date the checks you have told them you dont have money for (trying to get me in more trouble and trying to coerse me to break the law). I am going to put my phone on speaker and record my conversations with this company to show how they intimidate and harrass individuals on the phone for money. I will get this bill paid when I can, but people don't have to be ugly and I will not talk to them anymore until I can start paying back the money.

- Alfalfa replies to No more talking to them| 1 replyThey are violating the FDCPA by trying to intimidate you into sending them a postdated check and telling you "the calls will stop when you pay".
Get yourself a consumer law attorney. If you can't afford one, call your State's Legal Aid society for assistance. - No more talking to them replies to AlfalfaThanks for the advice. They called again at 9:45. 4 times in 1 hour and 40 mins. How many more times can they call?
- BrokeInNewJerseyYup its Pay Pal Credit Card (at least for me). Can't afford a bankruptcy lawyer (if I could, I 'd pay the credit card bills). Called local Legal Aid places and they told me, "Oh, we don't do that anymore".
So if I can't file for bankruptcy credit card companies and/or banks will eventually ask me to come to court and then a judgement will be placed on my credit file (I think forever?)
I've rented ALL of my life, so I guess I just won't ever move (new landlords do a credit check). I'm unemployed and now ill. May file for public assistance (after all, I've paid BIG taxes for over 30 years), but have not had the courage to go the the city agency office and I can hardly walk (from pain).
I know lots (millions) of people in USA are going through hard times now....The banks are evil, but I've learned a BIG lesson, the hard way. Cash is the only way for me. I guess its never to late in life to learn an important lesson....Good luck to all and thanks for the great information here. This is the only place that had this number "pegged" as being part of GE (pay pal, etc.). Thank you.- Caller: GE for Pay Pal Credit Card

- GratefulUse a Debt Management Program if you have several large debts and can't make the monthly payments one each. You pay one amount each month and the DMP distributes to the creditors. This stops late fees and reduces interest charged. A life saver...
- Anonymous513-322-3848 out of Cincinnati, Ohio calls me a couple times a day at this point. They left a message saying that it was Robert from Genpac Services and to call him back at 866-544-0753; however, the information I received from the collection company for GE Money Bank is from Genpact Services LLC out of Mississippi, not Ohio. Plus, they have a 1-800 number on the paperwork they mailed me that is not the number "Robert" left on my voicemail. I will not be returning their call.
