Yep, another scam, We do not rent Penske trucking in our MEDICAL Office.

"Herman" called from "GE Healthcare" saying he needed "payment status" on a $3,139;00 bill "due Oct. 11".  He called from 513-689-8971,left a message with a 10-digit account number and asked me to call 888-727-9958, extension 70640,.  If anyone's called that number back, let us know.  He had a pronounced Indian accent and is likely a scammer we want to hunt down.and give him some of his own "medicine". These telephone terrorists prey on older Americans..

Yes received a telephone call with the same scam yesterday.

The woman calling had a thick accent. I couldn't understand what she was saying. Something about PENSKE Truck rental past due.
She wanted my payment information to process payment. What worried me was that she was throwing around my bosses name.
This is definitely a scam, using names they probably acquired through public information or phishing.

Picked up call to very loud music. Came here and saw all complaints. I just hung up. Dumb scammers.

Received 2 calls each on my work between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.  Non speaking English women that claimed she was from Ally or Allied and was wanting payment on a loan that I do not have.  Got nasty with them and they hung up.

caller has been calling me numerous times at my work phone for the past 3 days, does not leave voicemail.

Just received saying from Penske an Indian speaking woman could not understand at all saying invoice past due

Called me too said I owed Penske trucks money

received a call at 6pm. The line was choppy, all I understand was I was invited for a job interview.
i just told the person on the other line to leave a text message with regards the info.

Just got a call from this number    lots of noise in the back ground   and when a female voice start to talk  it hang up and they call 3 more times in a row    but   did not answer  crooks

Got a call from this number today.  Very clever scam....they claimed they were with my company and wanted to speak to someone regarding a unpaid balance for a actual client.  The dead giveaway is the room full of operators in the background, probably making the same kind of call

Said he was with my company's finance group and asked for an employee by name.  He was in a room full with other operators scamming someone else.  He identified himself as Chris Gonzales so I looked him up in our directory and of course no such person.  I told him what I found and he just get repeating his name and then I hung up.

They got me this time. Not the next.

Received a call from this number with the caller saying they are from Standard & Poor's. It was shady because the caller was asking for a person but didn't know their last name. They knew where this person worked and their supervisor but they didn't know the last name. We suspect they gathered the information on an earlier phishing call. Since then, we reported this caller to our Technology Risk department because of how shady the caller was. Caller was a female who talked to fast and had an accent so thick, you could barely understand her. They gave a call back number of 800-767-1896. Watch out for this one.

Got a call saying they work for Standard & Poor's and they need to speak with someone in accounts payable for a debt outstanding. I informed them due to security reasons I can not pass them onto anyone. I then searched the number and found other postings on this site so I am reporting it as well.

I don't know why my previous post regarding this number is being censored.  This number was used a few days ago by a contract financial services company in India working for a customer of ours (GSK - Glaxo Smith Kline) to verify our bank details in order to arrange a wire transfer payment to us.  So this is one example of a legit use of this phone number.  It's too bad that so much US/Canada IT and financial services work is being contracted out to India like this - a lot of important and sensitive information is ending up god knows where.

I got a call from 877-756-2522 ext 83003 from a lady named "Suchiko?" with a thick Asian accent stating that she was calling from S&P Global regarding an unpaid invoice for $57,802.52 for market research services. She mispronounced the name of her requested contact, a former office manager here who passed away two years ago. Creepy, creepy...
