- Dale| 1 replyPressed one to talk to the a..hole since they have called many times and tired of the foreign accent idiots with their credit card scam. Told the woman where to stick it and a very little English speaking jerk came on and he did know all the American cuss words. Very professional, yeah right.

- Tamianth replies to DaleConsider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

E-mail: econsumerwb@ftc.gov - KDI finally picked up when this number called. They tell you they can lower your interest rates via a robo voice and you are to press 9 to talk w an operator. I wanted to get off the list as they call pretty regularly and couldn't do it automatically with robo voice so I pressed 9. The guy on the line, with a heavy accent, tried to tell me I could get lower interest rates. I immediately said "take me off the list". He tried to sell me on low interest rates again. I repeated "take me off the list". He then got ballsy and said give me your VISA number I will look you up. I said no. He said give me your Mastercard number. I said "take me off the list". He then said "Do you want to f**k me?" To which I hung up.
- EdwardI got a call from this number ... 514-001-1000 . Google tells me it is from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It appears to be a credit card scam. The number appeared in my "recent call" list. I did not return the call. After two weeks there was no further call from that number.
- I don't answer unless I recgonize #Called and did not leave a message on my machine.
- Caller: Don't Know or Care
- LindaHad a call & hang up no message. I guess they didn't want to leave a message. :(
- kenuth replies to Put the phone in the garbageWhy would I call it back? I call most of them and find out some very interesting things which I then report to this board for the benefit of others. I am using a different line with a garbage number that does not take incoming calls. I can obfuscate my caller ID. Don't ask how, I am operating at a higher tech level and a different thought process than you. If you don't like it you can move along.
- Robert Chess| 1 replythese are scam artists, I reported them to the USDOJ! Lets see if Obama's people can handle this. Don't answer this number. They are scam artists!

- Colette FileI keep getting calls from 514-001-1000 and I keep ignoring them, just like I ignore any call from a number I do not know. They will have to quit before I do. However, I am curious as to how they got my number since it is on the national register of no-call list.
