Call from Project1 - Nobody on the line, allways recall later or the next day.  Very tired of this.

This number is a number to get unlimited outgoing calls when you have an unlimited incoming call plan with your cellphone.

It's in french, but basically you call a local number, it rings occupied, then a few seconds later, you receive a call and you enter the number you want to call. And it connects you, on an incoming call so free of charge.

You can call the number 514-448-4242 adn ask them to stop calling you. I've received only one call yet from them.

I just missed a call from this number...but the whole thing seems confusing to me. Who is offering this service and why? why did they call me? i never called it hoping to use the incoming call thing...can anyone explain?

I got a call too and at the same time I got a message in my mailbox with a voice spam offering me that BeachBoy mentionned so it is probably the same thing.

I received a call on my cellular from this number. It rings once and stops ringing. I ran a search and found out that it is from a landline.

J'ai reçu un appel ce matin, une sonnerie puis cela raccroche. J'ai ensuite appelé le numéro, appuyé sur le 0 et j'ai demandé à un agent de me retirer de leur liste. Il m'a demandé mon numéro de téléphone et m'a confirmé la suppression.
I received a phone call this morning. One ring and then nothing. So I called this number, then press 0 and talk to an agent in french. I asked him to remove my number from their list. Done.

Just a minute ago received a phone call from this number. Rang once. I quickly typed the number in the google search engine and ran into this posting. It's very annoying since I have a pre-paid calling card which means that I pay for both incoming and outgoing calls. Following the suggestion on this forum, I will call the number and ask them to take me off their "list".

Tried calling on my cell, only one ring, display had no name, id anything.

I just received the call... I checked on 411 and its not listed... so i checked at work and its not a fido number... so I googled it and i run into you guys! I guess ill do the same thing and call them to un-register... this should not happen though! Its like a grey zone of legal/illegalness!

je ne sait pas pourquoi ils ne cessent de nous appeler voici le numeros en question (514)448-4242 je ne connait même pas ce numéros

I just received the call too and I'm on Telus...  Looks like too many Fido users complained so they decided to switch to Telus!  ;o)  The same story here.  It rang once and it hung up.  Hopefully, this is the one and only time it will happen.

Only had the "missing call" message.
