i got this number calling early in the morning

My In-laws are getting all kinds of "collect call" charges from this same number 514-664-8629.  They are being billed by a third party company called Triton Global out in Calgary, Alberta.. they have no association from either the number..

I've got the same . .    I think there covering alot of different angles to get your hard earned money into there pockets through various loop hole schemes to make easy cash.

      One of the ways they do it is through adds that say try this for free and then there's a charge at the end of the rainbow type thing..

                      I'm seriously considering my options to take them to court.

Yes First I got a Charge for 43.95 on my phone bill from Montreal.  I don't even know anyone in Montreal.  So I called my provider and they took the money off my bill.  Then I got a bill from Titon Global Business services Inc. They say they are a collection agency and that my credit rating will be effected.  Billing minutes was 4 minutes for 43.95.  Ridiculous in this day of communication.  They say it was a collect call.  I am not paying it.  How many people just paid their phone bill not noticing the weird charge?

I also had a call from 514-664-8629 for one minute I was charged $39.95 plus tax it came to $45.10.

I will take a letter, with all the information to the police. and see what they say.  Also will write a letter to RCMP in Ottawa. and see if they will do anything with THIS SCAM.

ITS A FRAUD -- TAKING MONEY WITHOUT YOU KNOWING IT.  THE AD SAYS FREE CALLS.

Hi...i received a bill from triton company as well and they are charging me a total of 712.03 for 4 collect calls from numbers 306-546-0649 and 514-907-6794. Has anyone paid for their bill? If not, have they taken any action on this? Pls advise as my poor mom is worried she cannot pay for this bill. Thanks

I got 4 collect calls on my bill for about $180.56 from this 514-664-8629 TN. At bell they gave the TN form Triton so I will give them a call to dispute those charges, they are just too high...

I recieved a very high bell bill, with collect call charges from Triton Global, over $800.00 over a span of two months.  No one was even in residence during some of these call times.  I am not willing to pay for these calls.  It is nothing more than fraud.  Has anyone had success fighting these charges.

We also received a bill for over $400, some calls in the middle of the night and when no one was there. We are not paying and if it becomes a problem we will also go to RCMP. Telus says cannot do anything unless we call them, if they get enough calls they will investigate = so call

Got a bill from Triton..$451.40..outrageous!..emailed them and they state I must pay for the use of their service number, which hooks you up with 514-664-8629, even though they advertise free call.  Has anybody paid the bill they got from Triton?..Don't!!

I got a bill from 514-6648629  (Titon Global Business in Montreal) for five supposed collect phone calls on Oct. 12 for 6, 8, 6, 12 and 13 minutes each for $39.95 each call.

Is this from calling the Quest "Free"    hotline?

I just got a phone bill with a collect call on it too.  Don't know this company, and the date that they said I accepted a collect call I was in California!!  Called Bell and they explained that it is an outside charge that is added to your Bell bill...he removed it and will bill back to the company.  I may receive a bill from them, but I will be going to the police with my phone bill and my plane ticket and have them charged with fraud!!

I was nieve to not notice my phone bill before christmas. I decided to check it. I just about had a heart attack when I saw my phone bill. I was being billed for calls that were not made anytime. I looked at the times too. I can read military times. Called bell and told them that these are not my called. I asked them to investigate these calls, but I think they just ignored what I had asked. They did fix my bill. Just a couple of days ago I got a bill from Triton global, just had another freak out when they were requesting payments for calls that I made. I am not paying this either. I have someone going to investigate this. I will go after these people.

I just checked my phone bill and I have 2 phone calls from this company at 3:16am and 3:31am both for $39.95.  Our phone company told us we have to pay it -- and gave us a number for phone busters 1-888-495-8501.  I am not paying this bill.  How can we possibly be charged for a collect call that we didn't accept?  I wasn't even home the day it happened I was out of town for the weekend!

just received my bill today and i too have had a collect call placed on my bill from triton global. i called bell canada and they tried to tell me i accepted the call and gave me quite a hassle. it's a scam and bell canada is in on it. the number on my bill is 514-664-8629
