My July/2011 Bell bill shows a call from this company/number Triton Global/514-664-8629 for $45.15 while there was no one in the office. Not a penny from me, I am not going to pay this.

got my bell bill yesterday with a charge of $45.14 for a 1 minute call from triton global this is ridiculous im calling bell to get it removed do these people think we're idiots? thats why i dont have my bills paid by credit card or direct deposit

This is fraud out and out, call Bell and refuse to pay, report to RCMP  the Canadian Anti-fraud Centre by calling 1-888-495-8501.

I received 11 calls on the same day between 7am and 1 pm. There are 4 different phone numbers on my bill all totaling between $44.00 and $50.00, duration of calls from 2.36 to 13.0 minutes. I never answered these calls or even heard them come in. Perhaps I was out that day, but I know I didn't lift my phone to these numbers, nor did I see them on call display. Do not pay them or accept any type of threat from Triton Global, my guess is they haven't a leg to stand on. Imagine the seniors on a fixed pension, how freaked out they must be, for shame both Triton Global and Bell. Bell needs to do something about these third party billing companies that do this. I've refused to pay calls like these with Bell over the years 3 times with no repercussions. Bell must cancel the charges because they are only collecting for these third party companies, tell them you dispute the calls in question and are/have reported them as fraudulent, and will deal with the third party company on your own. Go and report the fraud, have your bill/s on hand with all the information. Then refuse Triton Global as well. Send or give all this info to your fraud report person.

I cant believe we all have the same number.  on my bell bill we have a charge of 45.14 from the same phone number on january 16/12.  i called bell about it and the woman said that she will reverse the charges but that we will be receiving a bill and or letter from the.  all i can say is BRING IT ON!

ALL I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS HOW THE FREEKING HECK THIS COMPANY GOT ONTO MY PHONE BILL AND UP UNTIL NOW THEY ARE GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!  THE SAME NUMBER OVER AND OVER AGAIN.  I HONESTLY HOPE THAT THE POLICE ARE INVOLVED WITH THIS FRAUD BECAUSE FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN READING THIS COMPANY IS TAKING INNOCENT PEOPLES MONEY AND THREATENING THEM WITH THEIR CREDIT RATING.  I SAW MY FATHER RIPPED OFF 600.00 AND NOTHING WAS DONE, BUT I HOPE THE LAW STEPS IN A GETS THESE JERKS!

Did Bell actually reverse the charges, because I have the same issue, but, I'm with Rogers and they insist that they cannot reverse the charges. If Bell can actually do this, I think I'll switch to Bell. Thanking you in advance for your reply.

I also got a charge from Triton Global Ottawa Hull (514-664-8629) on my April Bill. The charge was $45.14 for a usage of 11.52.

I told  the woman on the Bell help line that I did not receive a call from this company, and that I did not recognize the company name either. I told her the name, and she said yes, '"it was a collect charge to be paid".

I told her that I would NOT pay this amount, and that I would formally challenge this amount.

Then the tone of the conversation changed:

The woman from Bell then asked me if I had any family in jail?

Strange question, and I told her it was a strange question, and asked her why she would ask this?

The woman from Bell told me that many of these calls are originating from Jails and  Prisons.

I said: "no, I have no family in Jail.".

The woman from the Bell help line then put me on hold, and then she came back and told me that Bell would drop the charges, but that the company would probably contact me directly to get the amount.

So let them try!

In the meantime, I will contact the CRTC about his matter.

Got two bills From Triton Global Vaudreuil saying that we got to pay 46 $ each!!
I called bell and they are forcing me to pay it!
I denied and she was telling me that if i dont pay it i will be charged extra so i make her [***] in her pants! :D hehe.. no seriously. Jokes APART,
What should i do? i just called CRTC and it's taking forever. :(

We are so desperate. CAn anyone help victims like us. Why the authorities concerned are not helping.
Why Bell accepts their service. I have being told by Bell that i am obliged to pay ths Bill.

got 6 collect calls from 514-412-0022 Montreal totaling $130. Rogers refuses to remove charges saying that we accepted the collect calls. We have free long distance, We would never accept the charges. we are going to rack up a bill with rogers and let them cut us off. I have a bad credit rating already. Then I am switching to bell and adding the no collect calls feature to the account. There must be something we"little people" can do to bring this company down.

I have the exact same issue as most on this forum.  Have a charge from Triton Global for $45.14 and called Bell who removed the amount but informed me that Triton will be getting ahold of me regarding this outstanding balance.  Does anyone have any info regarding the outcome of their problems?

I was charged a fee from Triton Global in April. See my earlier post in April.

I called Bell and they reversed the charge. But I really had to argue with them about this.

I also contacted the CRTC and they said this is not their jurisdiction. They told me to contact the RCMP.

Bell said that Triton would contact me to collect, BUT Triton never did contact me!

Chickens!

It is Bluff. I would love them to take me to court on this matter!

So my advice is to stand your ground and don't pay.

My parents had a bill for over $500.00 this month.  This number is Triton Global.  You call their number that is advertised on tv or the web, and select a city for a call back from.  Hang up and they call you back and when you answer they bill your phone bill.  It is phone sex.  Their son was calling.  I talked to them a few minutes ago.  Then I called the phone company and had all collect calls blocked from their phone line.  You can contact Triton Global at 1-866-340-4990 for more info about your charges.

I am reciving unwanted collect calls fron 514-664-8629 and being charged $50 per call it is a scam

I have just been billed by triton globle for 7.98 +taxes for phone calls to there  dir assist, 2 calls 3 min. apart. I have not made these calls, so I phoned there service person in Alberta. she told me that she couldn't give me the number I called or requested on Dec. 5, 2013. She told  me to pay the bill and e-mail a copy with the  confirmation number, and abrief explanation. They will then consider whether to reimburse me. The number they have on my bill is 347 686 0984. The girl told me that I used  a 1 800 number, then I was asked to push 1 for  directory assistance, TWICE, 3 minutes apart. This is not alot of money, but  if this company does this to alot of people then they should be stopped and put in jail.

Mystery charges of $226 on my Dad's phone - glad to be able to look this up and see it is bogus. Will be challenging that item on his bill with Bell.

With some gentle insisting, Bell was able to send the charges back to Triton Global.

It's incredibly discouraging this can happen to so many innocent people.

THIS IS A SCAM, FRAUD! Call your TSP (telecommunications services provider), eg. Bell Canada, Primus, Rogers and start a ticket = dispute for the charges. Tell your TSP that this is Triton Global fraud, you never accepted any collect calls.  (They know all about it because there are many victims and big investigation going)

Call the scammers TRITON GLOBAL toll free at 1 866 340-4990 You have to leave a message because no one answers the phone.  Say that you registered a complaint with the CCTS and are on the CRTC (do not call list (register if you are not already) you did not accept any collect calls, and I demand that you reverse the charges from my phone number xxx xxx-xxxx ,

Apparently, Triton Global counts on people not noticing the charges and just paying the bill.  100,000's of people getting caught in this scam not only in Canada, but also USA
