This number is in relation to the New York Presbyterian hospitals. It is not necessarily solely a collections agency, as that it is also what appears on caller-ID from when the billing, financial aid, and/or customer service departments calls. If you are getting calls from this number, it does not always mean you owe a debt but other issues, such as proof of address, health insurance information, etc. need to be verified or corrected. If you are receiving calls meanwhile you have never been to a NYP medical facility, then that means someone who has been there has put your number down as a contact number for him or her.

call came in from "Anthony" - asked for our founder.  Said he wasn't in the office (he's not).  He asked when was a good time to call back.  I asked what company he was calling from - he said it wasn't a company.  I could hear talking in the background, which means stockbroker/recruiter and I never pass those along.  I said so and he replied it was a TV.  (Yeah, RIGHT!)  I said the Founder has asked me to vet the calls, and if information isn't given, I don't pass the calls through.  He said he'd call back later.  (Go right ahead - you STILL won't get through!)

Had to do a *69 to get the #.  Figures.

Good to know from previous poster that this is Clark Dodge Co. - a wealth management company.  Good - I'll tell them that he went bankrupt.  :-)

What a pain....

Just comes up as 516 on callerID, UNKNOWN NAME, never answered it, but they don't leave a msg.  Very annoying, but I don't understand how it can just say 516 as the # on my caller ID

Calls are recieved on a daily basis. Call is a recorded message instructing those answering, to call Senator Frank Padavan, NY State Senator from Queens County, and to tell him to return to work. NYS Senators have been grandstanding for weeks now, throwing Albany into total chaos. I agree with the robo call that all Senators should get back to work and the 1st thing they should do is to outlaw these damned calls.
And yes, I am on the do not call list!

My home phone number is my cell phone, so each time, every day, at least once a day, someone from this number calls me....ON MY CELL PHONE...and leaves me the same message, OVER AND OVER AND OVER.... COSTING ME MONEY.... and for WHAT...???  PLease do something........

this call comes from this number, shows on my caller ID... but this is my home phone number, which is also my cell phone...so these calls are costing ME MONEY ...each and every time they call...which has been every single day.... I cant seem to stop them from calling....any ideas.... I dont care where Mr Winner is or what he is doing or with whom....this has to stop....please help me....

I am sure that I am speaking for all of us in the penn yan area....we dont want your calls. please stop...I dont care what the senators are doing and with whom...it is none of my business. or yours...why do you think it is up to you to call and let us know...you have too much free time on your hands....get a life....PLEASE....stop the calls....If you think you can do the job ...then run for office....let them or us talk about you....unless you know the facts...keep it to yourself...

Get these calls at least 2 times a day.  Its a woman (recorded message) complaining about Senator Maziarz ~ there are different messages all regarding the same thing.

Now they seem to have started calling international. I'm receiving calls from this number in Finland. WTF?!?

I'm in Ireland and get calls evry so often from guys in the US trying to sell me stocks & shares. When I saw 516 000 0000 coming up on my phone display I didn't answer and came to this website to see who it might be.
When these guys call (& I get caught out by answering the phone unwittingly) the call usually starts with them saying they sent me some information by FedEx and asking had I received it yet? When I say "no" they just go into a hard sell pitch just like from the movie "Boiler Room". When I can get a word in edgeways I tell them it's illegal to sell financial products of any kind to a customer in Ireland unless the broker / seller is licensed to do so by the Irish Government. I ask them to send me on their aouthorisation details and thats usually where the converstaion ends. A complete waste of time and very annoying.

He try to sell me stock!
Intresting that now there is the Italian prefix ..

My only concern is: did they try to sell something or even the call can be a trick to get information and also charge money on mobile?

And asked if he had a thing with inshared financiel buisniss.
When i answerd no we dont he said thanks and broke down te connection

My caller from 516-000-0000 was a jerk trying to sell me point spreads.

just got a call for my boss, and i said he wasn't in, they hung up annoying!
