I just called Verizon.  You can report these by forwarding the text to "7726"  You will receive a confirmation asking you to provide the senders number or email address.

Received a call from this number.  Did not understand the guy on the other end and told him he had the wrong number.

Received a text from this number. It said: Alert Call 1-516-453-0420 Direct Express. I have no dealings with a company called Direct Express or anyone based in Long Island NY.

There's a new phone number for the Arizona FCU scam: 540 278 2252.

I just got one from ARIZONA F C U but the number to call is1 540 278 2252.  Second time in 2 months  grrr.

I have received 3 texts in the last 20 min to call 1-386-763-4447 ARIZONA FCU!!! Iknow its a scam but it still is not right for them to be able to text us---our cell # are obviously sold!!!

I just got two of these texts, call 1(678)278 9128 ARIZONA FCU from 936942@vtext.com & (NOTICE) Call 1(312) 628 2331 ARIZONA FCU. from 293694@vtext.com.  I pay per individual text and it is so annoying I have to pay for scammers as well as unsolicited advertising texts.

I just got the message from ArizonaFcu. I called the number and kept entering random numbers again and again until they hung up on me.  I did it like 12 times and had a great time screwing with their scam.

They didn't buy your cell phone number. They did not get your contact info. They do not even know if your number is valid.  They do not know if you use that credit union.

It is not very had to guess the phone numbers of people that may bank with a local bank/credit union.
The scammer goes to a bank/credit union website and looks up the area code for that company.
Is the bank/credit union in area code, lets say, 123? Then send a message to every possible number in area code 123.
A spam computer then starts sending WEB-to-SMS messages to phone number 123-100-0000, then 123-100-0001, next 123-100-0002 and so on. It would only take a few hours to go through every possible number or even less if the scammer uses a botnet system of hijacked computers.
As the bank/credit union is local and not a national or global company, you have a very high chance of getting a group of true customer's cell phone who may think the message is genuine. If the scammer get even one reply with the account info, they profit.
As for the thousands that are not cell phones and/or have no dealings with the bank/credit union, they will dismiss the message as a scam or miss-dialed.

Forward the text message to SPAM (7726) which will notify your provider that the message is spam and they will take steps to block it.

Received 3 texts so far 2 from a 504 area code and 1 from Email but all from ArizonaFCU. I am forwarding them to my X wife.

Just got 2 texts to call Arizona FCU @703-376-3566.  Assuming it is a scam as well.  Heard of this on the news the other day,  they are targeting the elderly and scamming much money out of their accounts.  Don't be a victim.

The credit union does not communicate about such things via text or vtext, and will never ask you for your CARD NUMBER or PIN if we contact you. If you have responded to a text such as this and provided personal information, please call 602-683-1000 during business hours.

They are obviously stillt rying.  Just received 2 texts.  Said to call 416-477-2354 or 512-215-6311.  Both said Arizona Fcu.  Texts came from 52678@vtext.com and 0728@vtext.com.  

I just received a phish to call 909-222-1158.....will report it....thank you!!
