I just reported this number to the fcc and the do not call site. It was quick and easy.  The girl that I dealt with today was a rude little b****.  Don't think you can infringe upon my life and talk to me that way, I will get you. I read older posts, this has been going on for over a year people.  Make sure you report! This isn't going to go away on it's own, thanks. :) There is power in groups.

I also recieved a phone call from this number. I did not recognize it so I did not answer. But I was curious and I looked it up and found this site. After reading some of the responses, I used my phone to automatically block the number.

Got a call and it is probably the same lady with an offer to reduce my interest to 1 and1/2%. It's obviously a scam and I feel sorry for those who believe it. The cheats need to be locked up.

I got a call yesterday. I called it back from a different number and it sent me to an answering machine. No information of who they were on the recording. It just said to leave a message. It didn't say anything about it being a disconnected number. I believe a while back I got a call from the same people. I didn't answer either time. Glad to know they're scammers!

I received the same call on my Google voice number, here is the transcribed text.  I also have it in mp3 and reported it to the FCC.

I received a phone call today from 1-516-453-5647 saying that my phone number has been picked to receive a $50 gift certificate from Wal-mart. I hung up at that point because I knew it was a scam.

Caller ID says "Blue Bonnet Bapt..." calls our back office line several times a week and is always dead air or static/clicking sound.

(516) 453-6821 called and didn't leave a message.  The number they called is a Canadian number.

Telemarking. They lied how supposedly a "friend" entered my phone number at one of their vacation booths somewhere.
Of course, noone can prove that so these schlimes just use that to peddle their fraudulent scams.
Obviously, this is working them, because there are enough morons in this country to make it their worthwhile.

just got their call...and called back but says  "you call cannot go through please try your call again"... freaking lame...

Just got a call from this number, It was a recording asking me if the IRS is "keeping me up at night" "hounding me about payments". This is funny because I have NEVER owed the IRS anything. Heck I always get a refund.

Anyway they give you the option to OPT out if you press 3, so I did. a recording reads back my number and say it was removed...

It is a scam people....
