Just read on a news site that a call centre has been shut down by the FTC for more than 370 million calls to US & Canada.  Not sure if they will allow this link to be posted but here's the story.  Hopefully the one that got shut down will stop some of these scammers.

they just called good thing my phone gives me the option to block these numbers after they call me once.

Got a call about credit card financing. These calls are getting annoying.

I recieved an unwanted call on my cell phone from this number.

I just filed a complaint here took 2 minutes.  Everyone that gets this call do the same please.

What they are doing is illegal.

I keep getting calls from this # I have asked them to stop I dont even own a credit card.

Thanks for the information on the Do not call list, whcih I did not know included cell phones. I have registered my number. Recomend everyone to do the same, it just takes a few mins.

I got my first call from these people this evening at 7:25 PM.
I saw the phone number, identified it as out of area, and so I did not pick up. They did not leave a message. My missed call list identified it as New York.
This is the third such call I have gotten today.

Yes I got a call from this number...  I did not answer it as it was not with me at the time they called.  


I'm thinking that it's some secret government plot to record people's voice prints so that they can have them on file.

Just got a call from them..called back and it says it is a non working number..

I just got a call and was unable to answer.  I called back and got disconnected.  No answer.

Seriuosly, who are these people.

June 10 afternoon.  Same as above-didn't answer-left no message, when I called back it was not a working number.

I got it this morning, and it pretty much woke me up. I rejected it, because it was not a number I recognize. No voice mail after that.
