I got an email from "martinsbrown202@gmail.com" stating that he want to purchase a refrigerator.
He wrote that he is not in town but he will send me a check.
I knew that it is a scam but decided to play alone with it,just to make him spend few extra $$$
i gave him a fake name and address.
couple days latter i got an envelope with a check and instruction from him to send his "mover" the difference.
I told him to come pick up the refrigerator and the rest of his money,to which he said that money should be send before someone can pick up refrigerator. I called an a$$hole and he stopped writing me.
Just to let everyone know...that if you get those kind of emails...just play alone and pretend that you will be sending him money...and at the end just send him your laughing response.May this  will stop them from  scamming people.

He's at it again.

Answered an ad on Craigs List.  Wanted to buy an ambulance stretcher I had for sale.  Asked how many I had.  He called and sounded legit.  That was until I received the following poorly worded email:

Thanks for your reply concerning my inquiry.I am quite comfortable with
the item.I will be paying you by Check and i would be making
arrangements for the pick-up after you have received payment,If this
meets your approval,

Kindly get back to me with the following details:

Name to be on the Check,Home or office address(No P.O.BOX),
City,State,Zip Code,
Home & Cell Phone to contact you and your last Selling price so that I
can have your check ready.

Please,be aware that the amount on the check is more than your asking
price.the excess amount is for the (Shipping).you are to send my shipper
the excess amount when you receive the check.I will Be Happy if my offer
is Granted.
