The telephone number (517) 295-8547 is calling me.  I want to be removed as I do not have any dealings associated with this number at all.

just got my first call. did not reply but saw this thread and wanted to add another instance.

When I got the call, nobody talked because I answered the phone with my business name.  Just make up a business name and they will hang up without speaking.  I have gotten a number of these calls, when I don't know the number that is how i answer.

received call..did not answer/somewhere in Missouri..somebody noted on this site that this call was somehow connected with Obama..oh great..another conspiracy dork..great

Got a call from these jerks, wasn't home, they left no message. I'm going to do what I always do.....report the number to donotcall.gov.....For me, it has stopped a lot of the nuisance calls!

This was a SCAM call from Card Services regarding lowering my interest rate.  I had gone 3 days without a call from these people it was almost like a mini-vacation.   Too sad, it's now over.

No message left.  I am so tired of these calls.  I'm even tired of reporting them here.  Just want to make sure it was a scam.  Not surprised.

Ebola and Credit card scammers. Damn you Obama!!!!!!!!!

Kind of ironic that I signed in to Amazon today and 1 of the security questions for me was to enter my phone number. Something like "please enter the full phone number with the last 2 digits XX". Then a couple hours later I get a call from this number on my cell. I never get unwanted calls to my cell. And I believe that the local Amazon may be in MI? Not sure though. Just wonder if it had anything to do with that. I did not answer. Could it have been a virus in my browser?

And I forgot to mention that there is an advertisement on top of the page for Amazon with pictures of the products that I was just looking at today when I signed on to Amazon.

Also received a call from this number today.  I pressed 1 so I could talk to someone and request that they remove me from their call list.  He told me he cannot do that.  Legitimate companies know that if you request to be put on their do not call list, they are required to do so.

I'm not blaming Obama for this call...

I'm blaming the Ebola for this call!

CALLED twice on my cell phone at 0416 pm - I didn't bother answering it.

It was a recording to lower my interest on my credit card, so I pressed 1 to have them take me off their list. The man with a heavy middle-eastern accent said, What you don't want me? I informed him it was illegal for him to call me because I am on the NDNC Registry, and I will report him. He then started shouting SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP.

So, I hung up. What a giant POS.

They tend to target seniors and I would say they have some success or they wouldn't exists.

Keeps calling!!! I'm so tired of these calls.  Will block!!

Yep ... wanted to reduce my credit card bill ..... only problem is .... I don't owe anything on my credit card.  SCAM!
