Called and said they want to confirm my order of HIPAA and OSHA posters.  Never ordered these.  Women said, that's funny, we have you on record as calling us and ordering this.  I told them this was a scam and I would threatened a law suit if they charged me.  They said they wouldn't send a bill and wouldn't send me the material, we'll see.

Gyne called from 518-298-5690 to say she wanted to confirm shipment of an order I placed for OSHA material. She stated the material was ordered by me by telephone in May 2007. She stated the materials cost $300+ and wanted to arrange shipping. I stated this was fraudulent call and asked to speak with her supervisor. Supervisor named Nisha came on the line with the same story. They stated the company was WSK and they have a website. I held them on the phone while I tried to locate website. It was not to be found. They must call offices in advance to get names of people to ask for when they call. Told them I would report the fraudulent call.

I would like for this person to stop calling -- it is marketing. They just hang us.

Women named Maria called my package was ready to be sent to her.  She mention something regarding HIPAA and that we spoke back in Feb/2008.  At first I thought it was something else I was expecting so I gave her my fax machine number to submit the confirmation. But then she stated the price for the packet was $300+. I asked again what she was talking about and told her I didn't order anything. She said I was the last person she spoke to, had our company address and even my job title. I asked her not to send anything. She said she wouldn't.. we'll see.

I answered our phone & gave our standard greeting including my name, Robin.  The man then asks for Robin! I responded, "speaking".  He then stated my name including my last name & said he is calling to confirm shipment of my HIPA & OSHA compliance materials.  I told him I never ordered this.  He stated someone spoke to me in May & asked if anyone else could order on my behalf & I told him no.  He said he would "suspend the shipment".

I received a phone call asking for the Pres of our company I informed caller he was not available, and she then asked for my fax number.  When I required why she stated she want to fax info on a OSHA seminar.  I told her we were not interested and would not give her our fax number, and then hung up.  One minute later she called back and stated she had my fax number then hung up on me.  We are on the do not call list and I am frustrated with their tactics to try to get around this.  I am also tired of receiving all kinds of info I am in no way interested in faxed to our place of business.  It costs us money and I am very tired of it!

Received similar call about I had ordered Handbook on HIPAA and Compliance.  Stated I did not order and then was called back the following day with my name and stated that they had information about my OSHA Order which I did order.  What was sent was the HIPPA and Compliance.  They had told me it was the OSHA so I would accept.  Do not accept at any cost.  I am returning with a letter to the Commissioner of Fraud for the State of Missouri.

A man called and told me that I ordered the poster in August 2008 and the package will be shipped out on Monday 11-17-08. I told him that I did not order the poster and he said that he would investigate the order and get back to me.

This number continually calls our office and hangs up.  They had better not attempt to run this scam on me!  Deos anyone know how to be taken off of their call list?

This number called here three times today......no voice on the other end.......how aggravating!

Wholesale Knowledge is the company.  Like above, caller asked for "Barbara," who hasn't worked in our medical office for over 2 months.  When I told her that I do billing for the medical office, she asked to verify our address for some "compliance materials" that I had requested.  I just started work here a week ago and had no idea what she was talking about, because I sure as hell didn't talk to anyone about any order... only our doctors place orders for supplies (even the q-tips)!  No one else in the office knew anything about it, and I told her we didn't want to order anything.  A week later, FedEx shows up with a box of "compliance resources volume 1" and an invoice for $393!!!  My boss contacted the company to inform them that this was fraud, he is the only person who ever orders such things for the office and this company is trying to "pull a fast one" hoping to get paid through "office confusion."  Avoid!

they had my name and address. Quite a scam.

Call was transferred to me by another secretary, the woman on the other end said that my HIPAA and OSHA regulations packet was printed and bound and ready to be shipped. I asked her if I ordered this, she said that I ordered it back in March. She had my first and last name and claimed that I ordered it. I asked her if there was a charge for this and she said that it was $369 for the packet. I told her that I was not authorized to make any charges for the business and that she would have to talk to the office manager. She acted surprised and said "You're not the office manager?" I told her no and she said she would just have to cancel the order because my name was the only one she was authorized to speak with. She said it would be cancelled and we wouldn't receive our HIPAA and OSHA packet.

I received a call today for Wholesale Knowledge Medical Division almost a year to the day since their last attempt to scam us. I held on to every piece of material they sent us last year and informed everyone in my practice and neighboring practices about them.

They said that they were sending the newly printed compliance package to us (after stating they would never do this again last year and). I replied, “Oh, no you don’t.” I insisted that I knew for a fact that I never ordered this and there was no way they were sending this to me again and they are not sending me an invoice for $369 plus $30 S&H. The person on the phone said that she would have to discuss this with her manager.

If you have been contacted by them, I urge you to report them to the Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York. It’s easy to do and with enough complaints I hope that they will stop trying to profit via deception.

** Also, it’s been noted that they call you ahead of time and ask you to confirm things like your contact info and practice name. Please don’t give them any sort of affirmation like a ‘yes’ or ‘okay’ during any call from them. Because if you press them to give you evidence that you ordered their product they have been known to play a recording of you saying ‘yes’ out of context.

I had a call earlier today from Karen at Wholesale Knowledge Medical division.  She stated that a previous employee of ours had ordered a kit from them for $369.00.  I told her I did not want the kit and she said it was a kit we had to take because it was preordered.  Someone is suppose to call back to confirm.  I spoke with the previous employee and they stated that I had just fallen for the same scam that she fell for last year.  She said the material is absolutly usless!  She had a very hard time trying to return the material. I called them back but of coarse I had to leave a voicemail.  I guess I will have to wait and see.

I received a call stating my compliance manual was ready to be shipped, $369.00 would go out in 8 to l0 days...manual and CD.  I advised I did not order this as I use an entirely different company for HIPAA, OSHA, etc., she is sorry but they were a little behind in shipping...told her I did not order this and would need to research this and call - the number I was given is 877 856 8252 - we will wait and see but truly convincing person who called..I'm glad I am aware I did not order anything of this nature.

I received a call from Wholesale Knowledge Medical Division.  They said that i owed them $369.00 for plus shipping. I said I didn't order anything and she said yes I did and i said I want to talk to your supervisor and she hung up.  So I got her # from the caller ID and they said they wouldn't charge me anything.  Scam!!!!! Beware!!!!

When I googled Wholesale Knowledge this web site came up.  I do not have caller ID, so I can not say that is the correct number.  But I will tell you that the company is not to be trusted.  They said they were shipping pre-ordered OSHA & HIPPA (that was ordered by a former emplpoyee).  After getting rather firm with the company they decided to let us return the material and would take us off of the automated shipping plan.
